Enough with the German crap please :)  Its time the U.S. gets some of its more well-deserved aircraft.  Heres how it needs to go:

B25
F4f
SBD
P40
*Insert a few junky japanese aircraft here*
*Insert 1 or 2 junky Russian aircraft here*
*Insert German aircraft which is considered mass produced (in reality only ~7 were made) here*

I was under the impression the usual armnament on the He-219 was 2x30mm firing forward+2x20mm firing forward, and 2x20mm firing upward and forward at 45 degrees (that funky German phrase is Schsdarpaher Muaisddfgjfuhifdh) or something like that lol.

In the case of the USA, NOPE!  The USA was a monster at production and fought in two theaters which included USAF and carrier-borne aircraft as well as a great many large and medium bombers.  This trying to be PC and dole out aircraft additions evenly among the countries is ridiculous and only hurts the plane-sets for the theaters in the long run.

I do agree with you that we need more Japanese aircraft.  I personally find the early-war Pacific most interesting and would hope to see a concentration on that.  But this includes USA once again and my choices would be: F4F, SBD, P38F/L, P-40, A6M2 and 3 (clipped tip), Val, Kate, Oscar and maybe even an F6F-3 with the 3-tone paint because it's so cool (no, beautiful) and a personal favorite and imo so much more interesting than an overall dark blue scheme like we have for the F6F-5.

Let's get those planes that would really assist with "themes" and not worry about the fairness of where they come from.

Yes, exactly. Let's remove all planes except 109 and IL-2 and be done with it. Unbelievable PC roadkill having so many different planes in the set when only those two have production figures that really stand out. Come to think of it, it'd be really helpful to HTC, who could concentrate fully on improving all the other aspects of the game. Also, look at all the scenario possibilities: doing the "Schwarm's of 109's come down upon the helpless IL-2 hordes" would probably become more interesting by each iteration. This is what you were hoping for, wasn't it?

Nice pic of the 219's, I wonder abouts its usefulness in the MA however. I think it would be fairly useless in a dogfight unless you got in front of it.
It's firepower may preclude it to mud-moving role, or the lucky Buff kill.
However plenty of Bf110 pilots are doing plenty of killing in the MA, so you can never tell.
I would prefer a Ju88C/G in the NJG role.

Bring on the Me-410, and a RAAF/RNZAF P-40E/N !

There were so many different armement options for the He219 that the RLM asked Heinkel to make them fewer, what I've read as normal was always the 2x20mm in wing roots + 2-4 30mm in fuselage, either Mk108 or Mk103 (both were used). First combat sortie the He219 flew a single plane shot down 5 lancaster at night, was the first (only?) plane (except 262 maybe) to intercept and shoot down night bombing/fighting mosquitos.

11.06.43..... Werner Streib scored 5 British heavy bombers in timespan of 30 mins at first combat flight and ten days later 20 british bombers , including 6 mosquitoes was shot down in six sorties by He 219s.

He219/A7
Max speed  416 mph (670km/h)
Initial climb  1,804 ft (550m)/min
Service ceiling  41,660 ft (12,700m)
Range  1,243 miles (2,000km)
Empty  24,692 lb (11,200 kg)
Loaded  33,730 lb. (15,200 kg)

With full armament, fuel and radar with huge Hirschgeweih (stag's antlers) dipole aerial array, plane speed was only 311 mph (500 km/h) at 26,247 ft (8000 m).

He219/A7 was equipment with FuG 218 Neptun radar (range 120m to 5000 m + "Check 6" tail warning ), FuG 101 altimeter ,Lichtenstein SN-2 radar (range 300 m to 4000 m and tail warning feature) and FuBl 2F an airfield blind approach receiver. Uhu was a two-seater heavy night-fighter, cabin was pressurized and heavily armored, pilot and navigator sat back to back on the world´s first ejection seats.
He 219 was the only night-fighter able to deal with the Mosquito, Ju 88G and Me 110 G4 was only capable of catching the lancaster and halifax. Planes which could easily shoot down mosquito was Me 262 b, Arado 234 B-2/N Nachtigall (nightingale) and  Me 262 B-1a/U1 night fighter with FuG 218 Neptun V and FuG 350 ZG “Naxos” radars but only 12 planes were build.

I'd love to see the Me410. It's probably all I'd ever fly if it was introduced. We have enough German planes for now though (IMO).

Also have more than enough US planes.

Really need some more Japanese/Soviet stuff.

H8K
Ki84
J2M
Tu2
Yak3
Mig3
Pe8
LaGG3

and early PTO stuff:

F4F
SBD
Val
Kate
A6M2

Just my 2 cents
