Is there a reason?
« on: April 21, 2000, 12:18:00 PM »
Is there some particular reason I am unaware of that the Aces High community virtually ignores some peoples posts, whereas, if a <quote> popular person <unquote> posts, you jump all over it? Curious.

I don't think anyone is ignored, if it doesn't spark any comment it's just a lead balloon...h'mmm I've launched a few of those

Humble is right, I don't think anyone is ignored. I have had a couple of posts come and go with out a response. Sometimes they don't strike anyone's fancy. :-)

Ok, I think I understand. I just put a lot of work into our web site & thought that the chat room on our site would have been beneficial to the community. Guess I don't need to spend any money for a server.
I will thank Ozark and Staga for checking out the site and for their comments.

Apache,
Don't pack up your teepee & go away yet.
Sometimes it takes a day or so to get a good responce.

I've noticed that a lot of people here tend to not bother with posts that only have a few replies. Once it breaks that 15 to 20 mark however the thread gets hot.

Hang in there man. As for me I checked out the site. Looks like you are off to a good start. Hang with it, at this point you have nothing to lose.

I have posted a few times and only had a few responses and other posts I got more.  I have no reason to believe that it is because of someones popularity, maybe what was said just wasnt interesting to most.

LOL.

Question: What is on the back of Vaseline jars in California??

Answer: Pictures of missing Gerbils

Can I get any further off topic?? (one wonders)

I too checked it out. Sometimes I look at things, but don't have the time for a fully-developed comment (for instance, if I am at work). I read every post every day, so trust me, your stuff is getting read by someone.

As has been said, sometimes it takes a while to gather some answers. FWIW, I hit your site 5 minutes after you posted on it, no kidding! Didn't have the time to stop to chat, sorry.

Site looked fine (though I only took a cursory glance). Can you direct me to what you would like feedback about? Will be glad to provide comment on anything you like...

Apache, you are now one up on every other BB chatroom I have visited, Kieren was there, first time I actually ever logged on and someone was there.
This kind of chatroom is tough, I never ran into anyone in the one for B127-2 at bombs-away.net or the one that was setup for SDOhELL so if traffic is slow do not despair.
I did bookmark your site though.
