Last nights start saw:

Vancouver  over Hockey Town in a great overtime game.

Carolina over New Jersey (Hurricanes trying to prove themselves)

Philly over Ottawa in overtime (was a 0-0 game thru 3 periods)

San Jose over Phoenix (Don't like them but I take San Jose in 4)

Got tickets for Saturday's Blues game against Chicago!!!!! GO BLUES!

Long time Blues fan here, but I don't see our goaltending getting us very far this year.I say the same thing every year since they let Cujo leave!

Anytime the oldwings lose it is a good thing.:p

Go 'Yotes!  They lost on a blunder by Burke, didn't have their two best d-men and in San Hoser.  Screw the Sharks, the Coyotes in 6!!!!!

Now for today's hockey news!

What did today's matches provide us with?

Toronto over the Islanders (Islanders 1st on board but then the leafs turned on some steam...final 3 to 1)

Montreal over Boston (same deal, Boston first then Montreal turned on some heat and scored a flurry.....final  5-2)

Avs over Kings (listening on radio, sounded like the refs were very inconsistant.  Either way it was a close game score wise...4 to 3....I don't think the av's can hold up, but without choosing a winner I say this will go the full 7 games folks).

Blackhawks over Blues (Blues controlled 98% of this game.  Sadly chicago just got an extra shot of theirs to go in.    I pick Blues in 6 games...split home, wins 2 away, looses 1home, wins the next away.)

Just watched the Kings/Avs game... officiating didn't look all that inconsistent to me.

Of course... the 3rd period is always wide open and few penalties are called... hey... it's the playoffs. :D

agreed.  Officiating was ok.
what a great game.  Forseberg already with 2 assists.
When he gets his game back things will go well for the Av's.

You see that shot Allison put on Foote? I predict that those two will go toe to toe before game 3. :D
