I now have AH set up were I can control the RPM and Throttle separately. But can anyone tell me how to use it? I mean if I have my RPMs at minimal and throttle to full what does that do? And vise versa what if I have my throttle at minimal and my RPMs at full?

I use separate RPM-setting only for improve glide. Low RPM lowers drag A LOT when out of engine/fuel gliding.

Lowering RPM and MAN should lower fuel consumtion/miles but that is not the case in AH according to tests someone did earlier, hence best range with lowering MAN only.

The best endurance (time on air) can be acquired with lowering both.

Yes Beef posted that and yes he deleted his account. He started a new account at the request of his squadmates. The reasons for the deletion and the reasons for the restarting are not going to be discussed here, but please trust me when I say that I would have done exactly the same thing in his shoes.

I just don't understand why a guy asks a technical question and people respond by digging up stuff he said a year ago that is completely unrelated. Like school on Sunday... No Class.
