Well, Joe, seems like the only thing accomplished here was painting a big bullseye on your back. The "Check Six" wav can be neutralized, and white text isn't that bothersome, so what is going to keep people from chasing you around now?

Hiyas Joe:)

This is a great thread....what a great idea sending those 6 calls...you're devious:)

The reason HT won't get rid of killshooter and replace it with PNG, is he knows that I would shoot folks down too often...but then again, he used to do the same back in awdos:)

No such thing as a "Kill Steal"

Why not whine at the dweeb enemy who refused to bail?

OTOH I have ignored planes smoking and heading for terra firma only to find them on my 6 a minute later.....Being "Mr. Nice Guy" can get you killed!

well if you've shot off there rudder and htere heading to the ground rather than letting them die come along and shoot them before someone else does. and who's calling people who refuse to bail dweebs. after a HO and your both going down its a game of chicken to see who gets the kill whoever bails first loses then just just leap out yourself and float gently to the ground with a kill on your hands. and if thats not the case and there flying to the ground and they dont eject then thats because they hope you'll get shot down by the person who is "kill stealing" ha that term doesnt even really exist if a person goes in a takes them out while you try to kill them then its there kill but after youve got your enemy dieing then yes they are sorta kill stealing more like taking advantagge of a good situation but then if your still around while there heading after you can fall in behind and BLOW THEM TO SMITHEREENS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Woa...

I've seen just as many 109 and 190 drivers steal kills, sure they have to get closer but then they have a better view of a plane that's dead already!

lol mrlars send their names to the local gestapo head quarters they may be able to help ya :)

but seriously things have changed. Folks talk about "community" but its a fraud. There isnt one. Theres a bunch of folks just trying to "get over" on each other. A lot has to do with the "aw" attitude that a lot of folks brought with them.

In previous times when folks "kill stole" it was rare and a quick channel 1 message was enough to keep um in check. Now you get dweebs so desperate that they will actually auger chasing a dead plane to the deck.

Let me  tell ya a story why it pisses me off.

I was at 16k in a 109g6 and a 18 19k la7 came diving in. As he approached I went vert. The la7 must have lost site of me because instead of grabbing himself he went into a flat turn. I easily got onto his 6 but he dove away using his speed to escape. Np here.

He then gets on channel 1 talking smack how I am no good and I could never kill him blah blah blah. I grab head back to where i was going get 4 kills then rtb.

I up again the la7s is above me again this time he comes screaming in a I barrel roll and get 1 30mm hit on him. His tail flies off. Hes at 17k it will take him about 1 min to hit the deck. Several friendlies come in and see he is obviously not in controled flight.

I type to them la7 is ded, then call the 2 chasing him by name

xxx and xxx that la7 is ded. well they chase him all the way down and blow him up. Then the other guy chasing the la7 (one who didnt get the kill) types "good kill".......lol

The guy who got the kill tells me I oughta learn to shoot better....

Now in the 30 min since I began my first sortie I gotta hear toejame from some no good pos la7 dweeb whom I then kill. Then guys on my own side give me toejam and steal my kill.

If folks show me no respect then hell 100 check 6 calls everytime I see may umm be a good idea. Why should I give them anything but the same they give me. This is just 1 instance. I have numerous kill steals all in the same sortie. It aint about score or rank its about mutual respect.

Its not just limited to killstealing. Rarely do you get a check 6, or does anyone clear 6. You get a bunch loudmouth generals on channel 2 screaming follow me to victory. That and the spray and praying its become rediculous.

As bad as the wwiiol community was on the old message board over there the AH ingame community is almost as bad.

If joe or anyone else finds satisfaction in giving a little back well its no worse then what they got to begin with.

Mostly I just log when things get too rediculous.

You are missing the point wotan.

You killed that guy.
After you shot his tail off, who cares what happens. Who cares if a whole squad of idiots chase him down so fast their wings break
off. Some idiot gives you toejam on the radio buffer, does it hit you so hard in your fragile sensitive heart?

If you deperately need recognition, an online game is not the best place to look for it.

You won the fight, and that is all there is to it.

It is just incredible how some folks have never made an error in judging the airworthiness of a damaged enemy.

As far as the "aw" attitude, I saw a great deal of chivalrous behavior in "aw" and I never ever heard much about stealing kills. Why? Because the effort was against the enemy, and a dead enemy was a good thing.

If a countryman is saddled up 1 on 1, I will always go help, and I am not trying to steal chit. It is very easy to loose duece an opponent with very little communication between the wingies. Even can be done when one wingie doesn't know he is a wingie.:)

So, in order to steal a kill, I assume that the stealer would have to pump more damage into a plane than the guy that knocked off the tail or somehow otherwise rendered the victim's plane unworkable?
