Pick ur russian plane

I know we already had a thread about the MiG-3 but now that I knew a little more about early russian planes I would ask u the following:
Which plane (independent of th I-16) would u want to be modeled in AH first and why? I don't have a clue yet.
BTW I think it's time to get new fighters that are not RAF, US or LW (in version 1.11 or maybe even yet in 1.10)

1. Yak 1
2. LaGG 3
3. MiG-3

The names "Yak" and "La" are on the list of planes already present in AH, would be nice to see a "MiG" making its debut in the near future before any additional Yaks and LaGGs are added

And to continue the tradition of thread-hijacking: Bring the P-40 to Aces High, too! (Why not in VVS markings?)

But didnt i say early russian planes??? I thought Yak 3 was a mid war plane. We got many early planes for BoB so now I'd like to see russian planes and to hijack my own thread the second time why not the P39?

I know my english is bad but is it really so hard to understand this sentence? Maybe its cause i made a typo (th instead of the).
For me many fighters are a "must" for AH even if i dont like them, but in this thread i would like to get enlightened about this three fighters (for those who forget MiG-3, Yak 1 and LaGG3). The thread about the MiG-3 was very interesting so i thought to open a new one about the alternatives, or is it ur opinion that we dont want  (need) any of those 3?

Well, if I have to fly an early Warbird in the MA, at least I want to have a clear 6-view of the Uber-late-war fighter that shot me down

The Tu 2 was not seen in great numbers (about a 1000) compared to the Pe 2 and was useless at dive bombing. pretty tho.

The Mig 3 is sexy but of limited scenario (defence of Moscow only) use and zero MA use

The lagg 3 is not sexy, has no MA use but would be good for a few scenarios.(Moscow, Kuban, Kerch, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Kursk[which would also us e the early La 5)

The Yak 1 would have no MA use, be applicable in several scenario's(see lagg3 except the 9D is more applicable to Kursk) and is an easy graphic option.

The Yak 3 would have MA use but would be only little better than the 9U which was actually a rare bird by comparison. (Yak 3 scenario's Bagration, Niemen, Balkans, Berlin??)

Of course after the Pe 2 the next most required "Russian" plane is the P39 Aircobra.


Yes and before we have T34's we should have Katyusha rocket launchers........... IMHO
