still say that for the MA... surprise, the surprise u achieve by "sneaking up" on lone targets that may be at the fridge or bathroom, is about as fun as shooting down AI.   Simulating "surprise" in low numbered fights is about as worth  simulating as 6 hr flights and the general "real" fact of sparce enemy sightings.   People got surprised cause they were bored and half assleep not because they couldn't see the enemy.

'Surprise' from losing SA in a melee is another thing entirely and worth simulating... no... it is an automatic.  we have it now.

In a scenario, do as u like.  you are trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear anyhow and so a lot of suspension of disbelief and comprimise is required just as it is in the MA.

What I like and don't like?

Like the FM's and gunnery.  like the planes and the carriers.   Love the canyons and some of the terrain.   Love RW and film and being able to join in with another pilot.  Love the  view system.

Don't like... the long flights and the late war centric setup.   Don't like the perk idea or the field capture setup with the gangbang or be gangbanged "fights" it is responsible for.

I disagree - surprise jumps are intense. I'm pretty sure about 95% of my stalkees are actively checking 6 when I bounce - I know because most see me in the last second - or immediately swear at me on #1.

2 types of stalk I love are 1) a long dive up and under from their 4-5/7-8 o'clock, 2) under icon alt hunting near fields.

I have chased a/c for several minutes from their low 6 blind spot, with the pilot maneovering the whole time and not seeing me.

Historically ain't this the way it really was?
