It's not whining.

It's just something that sounds a lot like it.

Kind of like how a belch and a wet fart can be easily confused, when in polite company.

Although not as much fun, obviously.

... Pyro mentioned in a thread several months ago that it's something that is on their list of things to model, and that they will try and find time to squeeze the rockets into a release (or something to that effect).  Let's not bicker over it again...

Izzat right? Well, why do all the downed and captured LW's have wool stuck to the studs in their black leather g-strings?

Come to think of it, Goering had an amazing resemblance to a German Landrace......

When HTC reads crap like that he probably thinks 'screw you' and shuffles it to the bottom of the to-do list!"

 ...

So.. theoretically.. in order to screw those Allied opportunists ;) .. we have to consistently moan in a whiny monotone to add more Spits and USAAF planes??

Bug, if you think the 190 takes alot of dammage you must have been smoking alot of nice stuff lately, the P38 takes FAR more dammage then the 190, the P38 takes as much dammage as LA7's and F6f's, and don't come and tell me the P38 brakes up easily, I've flown it and taken 10+ PURE 20mm and yet made it out alive.

That we have many 190's is true, that HTC hates it is highly unlikely. That it is durable, is a plain lie and lack of knowledge.

FW190 F8 got additional armor around cockpit, engine and oil tank to protect plane from AA fire during low level missions. Most of the early production series F-8 planes had the additional armor used since the F-3 airframes. For weight reduction and improvement in flight characteristics it was not used in later F-8s. These planes had only the standard Fw 180 A-8 armor.
The armor wich was fitted to F series weighted about 360kg(794lb).

Panzerblitz 1  system was based to R4M air-to-air rockets. They were modified for tank hunting by mounting M8 type warhead wich was able to penetrate 99mm armor. This rocket could destroy tank from range of 200 m. Speed of 490kmh (304mph) shouldnt exceed during firing rockets. Panzerblitz 2 was successor to the Pb 1. Main difference was the hollow-charge warhead wich was able to penetrate 180mm armor.

Fw 190F-8/R1 carried ETC 50 bomb racks for 50 kg bombs wich was later replaced by ETC 71 to carry AB 70 cluster bombs. Some planes was fitted with both types in pairs 2x ETC 50 + 2x ETC 71.

ETC 501 bomb rack was a standard item in A-8 planes so F8 got it and it was able to carry 1000kg (2205lb) load.
Modified Fw 190A-5s could carry one 500kg (1,100 pound) bomb under the fuselage and two 250kg (550 pound) bombs under the wings, but some could carry a single 1,000kg (2,200 pound) bomb.
In an emergency, single Fw 190G planes were adapted for the transportation of high weight bombs under the fuselage (1000, 1600 and 1800 kg). In this modification, the shock absorber leg was strengthened and wheels with strengthened tires were used. Also used were special bomb racks (Schlos 1000 or 2000) in place of the ETC 501 bomb rack.

Wilbus that's a lie. The P38 takes noway more damage than a FW.
Better don't drink to much it eats away ur brain cells.

Been behind some fw's gave em lot's off hits some escaped, as i was close at d200.
I had once, that i thought: "well that can't fly anymore" only few secs later it turns back against u and goes on and on.

Ok not a tank but very very though.

The FW is what i most fear in the ma no doubt.
It's much better than the 109.

Oh yeah Bug, the 190 is a great plane if flown the right way, no the easiest plane to fly but very dangerous, as it should be.

What you say about the 190 with "that thing just can't fly any more" I've experienced with the P38 ALOT of times aswell, and I've hit them MORE then 10 times with pure 20mm and seen them fly away, smae thing with the 110 which seems to take as much dammage as the P38 (except for the EXTREEM glass tail). I've even put a 30mm in the wing of a P38 and seen him fly away with a broken engine (I was busy with a spit that time). But PLEASE, don't come and say the P38 can't take a beating, it's in the top 5 when it comes to taking a beating and staying alive.

Btw Bug, sorry for my harsh language before, hope you didn't get offended, if you were, I appologize.
