Here is good news.

Ki-44-II-Otsu could carry more shells of the Ho-301 rocket cannon by putting gunpods under the wing.

The Zero's where more maneuverable than the Corsairs.
Only thing was the Corsair could dive and get away fast, or make enough seperation to try and turn the fight around, or get away as the situation may warrant. As for the industry itself, I dunno. But I wouldn't say many AH pilots have little regard for Japanese planes.

What about adding a new plane every new tour independent from patches and new versions?
