cant get game to run

I left for 5 days, now when I try to play I get a screen that shows part of clipboard flashing in and out, the grey design background flashing,  and peeks of my desktop showing inbetween, whats going on, what can I do to get back in games good graces ? I already tried removing and reinstalling, I deleted the video 7 file, restored my computer to settings of earlier date. Nothing fixes the problm. Tnx I need to fly

The same thing happened to me.  Still down as of 8:10PM est this date.

Need some information to work with in order to help folks.  Start with your machine specs, video card, driver version, OS version, etc.

Also, do you have DX 8.1?  Have you "upgraded" your video drivers recently?

here goes for me ;1meg amd vidcard 3d Prophet kyro4500 64mb,
512k ddram, sound blaster live sound card--- I have uninstalled and re installed game i reinstalled all the drivers directx 8 etc
I can get a screen and log on to game but vido display flicks from desktop to field with a frame rate of about 3 down from my normal 70. From my typing u can see i not the most tech literate computer user around but cann follow directions pretty well tnx bud

Did the game ever work for you?  If so, what has changed?

You should be sure to use Windows Update at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and follow the Product Updates link to make sure your OS is up to date.  Also, if you only have Direct X 8.0, go upgrade to Direct X 8.1.  You can also try different versions of your video card drivers.  If you need to updated to DX 8.1, it will be available in the Windows Update section as well.

Since you have an AMD chip, I think you may have a VIA based mainboard.  If so, you may need to update your 4-In-1 drivers.  You can get them here:  http://www.viahardware.com

well Ive done everything I can think to do but problem still persists when I go to on line game I am getting frame rate of 2 or 3 ,could some other program be running eating up game
Im really stumpped when i left March 19it was great for like since feb. till April 25th when I tried to play and this came up any more input or gusses welcome only have puter for business and this game need the game more lol

Try getting updated video drivers that support DX 8.1

Also, you can try downloading the game again and doing a re-install.
