I thought I would post an update just in case people are looking at this post and may have similar problems.

I think Hawk52 has everything under control now.

This was an interesting situation, but useful and adds more info. for the troubleshooting hand book.  :)

This particular terrain had 107 fields but no Country Strats ( Country Group Items ) had been placed yet.

When a couple of Country Groups ( or 1 Group ) were placed and then saved nothing would appear to happen and it looked like the Editor had froze up.

The key here was that the mouse still had movement.  What was happening was that the Editor was Compiling the information.  Now when I tested this .oba file and added the Headquarters for all 3 Countries and a couple of Factories for the 2 main Countries it took about 8 1/2 minutes to Compile this information when I hit save.  After that time everthing then came back to normal and more stuff could be added.

It appears that Country Groups should be placed earilier in the construction of your terrain specially if you are going to have alot of Fields.

I want to Thank Pokie for once again pulling my donut out of the fire. In this case it looks like we all might have learned abit.

With his help the New Guinea area Map is complete.

Thanks Pokie
