Very nicely done Wlfgng.

Both RUSH and Yes played great roles of inspiration for my own musical endeavors.  Coming up in the late 70s and early 80s I was influenced strongly by the generation before me, Entwhistle, Bruce, McCartney (highly underrated melody master) to name a few.   Later Tom Peterson played a big role in keeping me grounded in my choice of style conservatevely speaking.  So much so that I invested in a Hamer 12-string B12S.  My other personal favourite is a Rickenbacker 4001CS (Chris Squire Limited Edition Signature Series) based on the 1963 varient of the 4001.  Many others have come and gone but these two just wont let up.

Looping again, very nice work

Yes, please post some original work.

Thanks guys, complements are always welcome!  hehe

It takes forever to get it all recorded, mixed etc..
and then converted to mp3's
I still am not satisfired but can't linger forever on covers.

I use Cakewalk for most of it and if any of you bass players wants to collaborate I'd be open to other projects.
It gets pretty old programming midi for most of the other instruments.

or a drummer that can record to midi!   :D    yeah!

P.S.  I suck at song writing so how's about some hep:)

It's nice to see some musicians in here!!  I played drums from the 5th Grade to a few years ago.  Sold my DW kit for $3000 (didn't get a birthday present or christmas present for 6 years!) made $1000.  Kept that kit immacculate.   The wife diddlyed up, a couple of months ago, I mentioned I might want to get back into drumming, and she said "Why don't you?"  I just got burned out with drumming, so I may take up Bass or Guitar.   Fav. Rush Song of all-time?  Have to be 2112.

Took the wife and a friend to the Test for Echo tour at the Palace of Auburn Hills (96), sat 6th row main floor.  Saw them on the Counterparts tour.  Animate, my fav. drumming song.

I forgot to add. I still have a Teisco Del Rey I got in 1968.

that might be another album - Vaporous Entrails -

Anyways - Yeah I got a studio in Nashville - I use a dual 800 Mac and run Logic 5 - plus lots of other toys - bought a Sonor kit to record with - it's ok - the drummer I play with has Larry London's kit from Journey's Raised on Radio album - and it still sounds good - yeah let me know if ya want to collaborate - I still need to post some mp3's in zip format.

hell yeah I wanna :)

can you use Cakewalk files by any chance?

I'm collaborating with an old friend that now lives in upstate NewYork.. we each have CD burners and just send the project back and forth... I'll add tracks, he'll add tracks, etc.

in fact, anyone that uses Cakewalk would be welcome in my book!

of course there are other ways but it's the easiest for me  doh

matter of fact if you can send me any tracks to 'la villa strangiato' - I can put bass on it - and I also have about 10GB of samples - drums mostly - so if I had the midi - I might be able to drop them in - but yours sound good -

Man I was wanting to hear the rest of it!!!

anyways - you have a good ear for doing that - I want to cover Circumstances at some point as well hehe

if you are close - i'll start a rush cover band with ya!!!  :D
