Straffo you've been missing a vital part of my posts; I talk about euro timezone and its players. I couldn't care less what happens on the MA when I'm at sleep.

I hear rooks kicked some butt yesterday also.. Too bad I can only read about that in our communication mail list. Got to sleep sometime too you know :)

I've only been here a year or so, but I'll dispute that statement that 'it all goes in circles'. Except for a brief month long period when I first started, the Bish have enjoyed a numerical advantage for at least an unbroken string of 8 months. Now, as far as who is in the proverbial bucket, that tends to alternate between Rooks and Knights, as far as I can see.

I agree. All the 'shifting' around seems to be happening at the Knit-Rook borders only.

It's very interesting to see how all those folks who emphasize on phrases like "don't care about numbers" "have fun where you are" "we don't check roster numbers" and etc etc.. are typically in the Bishops.

Having fun is real easy when the side you are playing for enjoys a large advantage for days, weeks, and months and months.

I used to fly on Euro TZ (CET) but since my newborn has invaded (*) my office I've been out of  AH since about one month and half.
So I don't now how is the MA actually I just know that my squad as switched to rook to help the number.

Anyway I've been in AH since tour 3 visiting all 3 country (I've been mostly bish about 90% of the time)  I recall seeing bishes being in the bucket for 2/3 month (**)  then being over strong for the very same period ....

Like forrest gump said "shit happen' "

Concerning sleep  I've seen bishes grabbing more than 10 fields in a row and after login the next day I've seen all the 10 fields lost ...

So don't take care of number ... "shut up and fly"  ;) and try to HAVE fun !

(*) the little thibault won't sleep all night long currently... bummer ... :(
(**) there is nothing like being vulched by a "fellow" bish who switched side ...

hu ?
I'm not used to see bishes having the number in fact for my TZ I choose to be Bishop because of the low number of bishcuit ....

You seem to be online at the moment straffo.

The situation in the main arena at this moment is this..

No advantage? Or am I hallucinating?

I can post numbers like this at any given moment when I'm online with 95% certainty. I'd like eurozone bishops post what they see (and no, I'm not talking about one saturday one month ago.)

sure I'm online ... I'm wasting time waiting for a meeting to start at work :)

I don't negate the current situation I just want to point that next tour with some squad traditional rotation things would perhaps change.

The MA change all day minutes by minutes ... IMO one of the worst thing to do would be number balancing ... war is not fair :)

Btw looking at crude number don't give any information of the repartion of the player

imagine there is some king of bishrook alliance against knit the number are : BR 89 vs K 39
now for a BK 94 vs R 34
or a RK 73 vs B 55 ...

Without a country having more than the sum of the 2 others I won't speak of gangbanging as I don't know the repartition.

Thats an interesting example there Toad.  However... if you'll notice who has the fewest number of players and the fewest fields in your 'screenshot'.. it isn't the Bishops.

Most of the time there are no alliances though and countries fight equally at all fronts. Only when a side is extremely low in numbers it often happens that both sides push for reset and attack only the poor gangbanged side.

That is when MA starts to suck for real for the smallest one. Probably that's the reason also why many people log when they see this coming.

Got another little example.  Taken today (5-24) at 2:00 pm.

This is more typical of what I think everyone in this thread is talking about.

Hehe..the only numbers I worry about is the bandit in my gunsight and the bandit closest on my six.

Sooo, at any given time, the largest numerical value I think about is....2!

Let me ask this... why is there such a strong rivalry between the three countries?  Who has the strongest rivalry?  Is more 'squad' based than country based?

What squad has the strongest rivalry?

I like how Toad posts the screenshot for the numbers that occurred in a planned joint operation by several large Rook squads.  [sarcasm]That's highly representative of every Thursday around 0000-0200 GMT...  :p [/sarcasm]

I wish I had taken a screenshot when I got on about 2200 gmt.  Was about 120b-70k-60r.   I didn't really pay too much attention because like I said before,  more Bish and Rooks = more targets for Knights.

I don't think its a rivalry at all...

Its Taking The Path Of Least Resistance...

one of the small teams gets hit by either opponent, the other opponent finds itself with an easily attackable front so they do it...

The initial team gettin hit just gets hit harder

You guys do have one justifiable gripe. Talked to the folks at HTC today and Bishland is the default country for new accounts. That is, they get dumped into Bishland automatically.

I think that should change and it should rotate or as a minimum be random.

That way you guys get the opportunity for new blood and you can do some of the work answering all the questions.  ;)

As far as the rest of the "saddest story ever told", what happened to "Bish ALWAYS have the numbers"?

You guys will now admit that that was simply an incorrect generalization?

We FEEL your pain.  ;)

I'll post a screenie later of the map that I took seconds after I took the numbers post. Kinda busy right now.

We wuz Gang-banged! It JUST WASN'T FAIR!

The took our RADAR down man! OUR DAR!!!! We were fighting in the DARK!

BOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhohohhoooooooo oooooooooHOOO!

OH the PAIN, THE PAIN!  We were at a DISADVANTAGE!! AHHHH! ARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

...and SKurj.. the ribbing was all in good fun. Hope you didn't take it as mean or personal.
