Ive seen many great callsigns but many times more terrible unmemorable ones.

Several months back I was corraled and hurrahed by a fella
went with the callsign "EatMyBag"......That callsign made me laugh and visualize my own vomit as well.  Thats the one I remember most presntly.  I suspect that puts it up there with the "best"

Ah, thks for correction on spelling, yeah, knew that about him.  He turned out to be a great guy, but his intro to online sims was not a welcome one, hehe!

The first time I saw "Dogfart" online, I wondered why anyone would choose such a callsign.  Now that he is a squadie, I understand.   :)

Personally, I like mine becuase it can be a verb or a noun...
Quote

fork   Pronunciation Key  (fôrk)
n.
A utensil with two or more prongs, used for eating or serving food.
An implement with two or more prongs used for raising, carrying, piercing, or digging.
A bifurcation or separation into two or more branches or parts.
The point at which such a bifurcation or separation occurs: a fork in a road.
One of the branches of such a bifurcation or separation: the right fork. See Synonyms at branch.
Games. An attack by one chess piece on two pieces at the same time.

v. forked, fork·ing, forks
v. tr.
To raise, carry, pitch, or pierce with a fork.
To give the shape of a fork to (one's fingers, for example).
Games. To launch an attack on (two chess pieces).
Informal. To pay. Used with over, out, or up: forked over $80 for front-row seats; forked up the money owed.

v. intr.
To divide into two or more branches: The river forks here.

To use a fork, as in working.
To turn at or travel along a fork.

Or some my favorite uses...

"Fork you!"

"You've been forked."

"Man, you forked that move."

"Who is the forker in the La-7?"

:D

In Aces High, I think the best two that I have seen are MeatWad and DogFart.

The best outside AH I have seen was this guy I saw when I was playing JK2.  He was using the Lando skin, and his name was Colt45.

I think most folks don't get "0osik".

It is an Inuit word for the noodle bone of a walrus.
It's surprisingly large, and is as nearly sought after as are walrus tusks.  Both are used for scrimshaw carving.

Not sure exactly what you mean - only difference I can see is your quote isn't in bold....  Do you use Reply or Quote?  If you use Quote, all the text is there for you and all you have to do is add your bit.  However, I often snip out most of the text and only leave the part I am directly replying to.  You will notice that there are square brackets with [ QUOTE ] and [ B ] (without the spaces) at the beginning of the quoted text, and [ /B ] and [ /QUOTE ] at the end.  Providing you make sure your quoted text has these at each end, you will get the text quoted in bold type.

Not sure what you me by a continuous line?  Unless you mean all the lines are wrapped - the only time you need to insert a return is if you want to start a new line or paragraph.... otherwise, just type continously without worrying about formatting - this BBS program does it all for you!  :)
s are HTML codes, but this BBS uses vB code (see "Forum Rules" under editing window on the left, just before Topic Review).  Hope this helps.  :D
