Actually Kieren, I have suggested that there be something along the lines of "Teaming Tuesday" for this type of 2v2 event. But this all goes back to the inevetible problem.
Pimpjoe, I can *ASSURE* you there was NO winging with respect to you. What round are you talking about? I have film from all three rounds and have watched them ... I guess I missed the part where curly bounced you just as you engaged me. Sincerely, the ONLY goal curly and I had this WW was to make sure Fester died for his BS antics last week when he winged with Mane. Dont believe me that he winged with Mane? I know MANY pilots that Fester has asked to wing with BEFORE the events starts. Out of respect to those pilots, I will not give their names.
PJ, the Assassins and AK's are two very different squads with some very different members. First of all, there is a big skill difference between a lot of the members in my squad with regarding to ACM. What pleasure would I get shooting one of the less-advanced pilots down? The Assassins, seem for the most part, to all be kinda in the same league. Zig and hb seem to certainly be the best, but there are a LOT of very good and competitive sticks that have been around much longer than many of the AK's. There is no need to get into here, but I will say the AK's to no pride in shooting each other down. That is why curly and I usually take off at different fields OR go in different directions. It would be impossible for us not to try to save each other and avoid engaging one another. We just choose not to put ourselves in that situation. We did this time for some retribution.
But I have to admit, I'm with Kieren on this one. It is impossible to do away with some of this stuff. This is KING OF THE HILL - kill or be killed. I had this idea of not engaging ANYONE if they were already engaged when this thing started. After all, I thought it only fair 1v1, best pilot wins, and moves on. This VERY quickly backfired. In fact, if I remember correctly it was 2 assassins that took care of me. I was engaged with one and another got me. Was I pissed? Yes, but not because of your tactics. Because I chose not to engage, or cherry pick" other pilots. That changed then and there.
Its a game, enjoy it.

PS
PJ, I find that somewhat interesting. You were in Festers plane? He in yours? During these ridealongs, were you guys giving each other 6 calls? Or just looking straight ahead? Perhaps taht would explain why I was getting join requests from Fester as I was killing you?
