After making all of those P-40s they didn't have any extra Allisons left over.  You'll just have to wait.

I must agree with fester, lets please get a P-38H or J.

This would almost finish off the Major Allied Pacific Aircraft with the exception of the P61, B29, B24, B25.

If i'm missing a "Major" one please chime in...
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

ARRGGGHHHHH!!!!

Its starting all over!!!!

Superfly, its a great looking P-40B.  One of the best looking aircraft for AH so far.  Pay no attention to these malcontents;) The majority of us appriciate the new aircraft.

Thanks.

...which is just just about as often as a P-38F, H or L would get flown.

Why ask for the same aircraft over and over and over and ...
Why not ask for something you dont see in every sim with wings?
There must be others.

I think you meant "J". By the way, the early P-38s lacked hydraulic aileron boost and had a very poor rate of roll, that got worse as speed increased. I agree that the P-38G is essential for the mid-war Pacific planeset. However, it was not a contemporary of the P-40B-C/Tomahawk and it appears that HTC is working on the early war Pacific planeset for now. So, don't get your panties in a knot ladies. Your mid-war Lightning will eventually show up.

I'm glad to see the P-40B. For the record, it's actually a Tomahawk, not a P-40B, and it's a hybrid, unique to the AVG. If I'm not mistaking, this Tomahawk is in Dick Rossi's colors.

My regards,

Widewing

There are 500 models of 2 of the "Common War Planes" and only 1 model of the third.  A lot of people fly the current p38, I think you would find J/F used by many people depending on ENY value.  IF you made a 38 F/J and decided to pork the ENY value and compare it to f6f (f6f VERY MUCH better fighter performance, and almost same ordinance load and has same ENY value as 38 now) your right, not a damn person would fly it.  '
