just got finished seeing one of the coolest things i have ever heard of. apperently there is a invention now in the prototype stage ( they had a guy with it working ) that will give totaly blind people or 99.5 % of all the totaly blind (their figures) to see . Its a limited sort of vision like a early black and white vid cam ,they implant the things roots in the visual centor of the brain and a sensor/cam on a pair of glasses and they can friggin see . they even had the dude driving a car in a parking lot. supposedly it will be available in the us fairly soon.
just had to say somthing. sorry i dont have a site . it was on the tech tv news show so im shure you can track it down. if youv ever known a blind man as most have its just to cool for words. or at least my limited ones.
