Spain 0 - korea -2. Referee 2- Spain 0.
« on: June 22, 2002, 04:09:32 AM »
Well,it happened.

WE played very well. In fact we won this match. A referee stole it.

THere was one possible penalty. Two clear goals who only the referee knows why didn't he give. There were  doubtful offsides. Yellow cards for spain where to the korean ones was nothing at all. THere even was a corner in last second, wich the referee didn't call. Just in case we were to score a third goal, I guess.

Up to this moment when someone scored against korea, the referee let the goal go to the goal score. AT least noone said Vieri's goal was not. This time we were not even allowed this.

But, anyway and above everything there was a wonderful match smartly played by spain. There was sacrifice, there was will, there was a magnific game played by Spain. There was, also, bad luck...we lacked it where we had it against eire.

I said it: this match was to be won by us clearly. We had to dominate the koreans and let clear who was the best. We won it clearly. We let clear who was the best. We gave a good lesson of soccer and how to play a match. No matter someone stole it from us, this was (is) a victory for Spain.

Spain. I'm proud of you guys.

Absolutely strange: A totally regular goal of Spain was refused by the referree.

Its the 2nd time after the Italy-game that the referree supports S.Korea.

Now the germans have to solve this "problem" ;)

But a great compliment for Spain: They played a great championship and lost against the referree :(

PostData:

Germany ,you'd better play your best match against this team. If you count to pass with a match like the one you played against USA or Paraguay, you're completely done.

Well, I'm truly sorry if you think so, RAM.

Personally I think it was a great game, and the Spaniards were indeed very good, even more inspiring than the Italian team. Lot of heart skipping moments everywhere.

Of the 120 minutes played, luck was on the side of Korea - the ball hitting the post and venting out of Korean post was probably the most tragic moment for Spain in this game. The two 'goals' prior to that were clearly off side and a charging foul.

Probably Spain had better chance to win, and they showed clear dedication for victory. I admit that, and respect that.  But in the end, skill and dedication both could not decide the winner, so luck jumped into action.

Better luck next tournament, Spain. Great game. I think Korea spent all the luck it had today, which was scheduled to be used over 10 years of time.

We have a very good situation:

We won against Paraguay and USA although we didnt played good.

So - how will be the result if the germans play good or normal ? :D :D :D :D

And we still have the best goalkeeper of the world OLIVER KAHN !!!!

He won the championsleague with Bayern Muenchen last year and in 5 games of this championship he only allowed 1 goal for the teams who where playing against us.

KAHN RULEZ !

:D :D :D

Offside? Foul?

I'm not gonna argue ,mate...there is no interpretation at all here. Both goals were valid, and stolen.

The first goal was not given God Knows Why. There was not illegal in that one. No foul. Nothing.

The other was not given because referee said the ball had ran out of the field, which CLEARLY (I mean: clearly) was not the case.

The ball hitting the posts was bad luck. Those two goals were stolen.

No more, no less :).

yah mitsu...in movement is even more scandalous :(

well, such is life...when someone steals you, you can't do nothing at all.

Better to leave the place with the head up and proud of what we've done and won by ourselfs. Even more proud that they had to STEAL us to kick our team out of the World Cup.

I feel it for Morientes. He scored 2 goals, both valid, not  given, and sent 2 shots to the posts...poor boy, he was crying in impotence when the match ended :(

Out of field is awarded when:

 1) The ball rolls itself completely out on the ground
 2) The ball rolls itself completely out in the AIR

That situation is even in the LEAST a 'reasonable doubt'.

Perspective in the photo is fooling you, kweassa. In the second shot you put, the ball is already in the air and nearer from us that the point you're marking in the ground.

The ball is CLEARLY inside the field. there is no doubt, mate. In movement is seen even more clearly.
