Ta-152h-1
« on: June 27, 2002, 08:46:13 AM »
According to my source material the TA-152 would run 472 mph at 41k feet.  While I could acheive over 40k with the AH TA-152 I could not get anything close to 472 mph and subsequent performance charts I've seen on some of the AH related websites show the plane doesn't even top 450.

How do we approach the administration to get a relook at the top speed of this A/C?

Modas,
  My source is

The Great Book of World War II Airplanes by Crescent Books.
There are about 8 different authors as the book was originally published in 8 separate volumes.

The data I have

Ta-152H-1
Junkers Jumo 213E-1 12 Cyl

332 Mph at sea level
350 Mph with MW 50 boost
465 at 29,860 (748km at 9100m) with MW 50
472 mph at 41,010 (760km at 12,500m) with GM-1 boost.

I only see a 5km difference in these figures and those in the chart just presented for 12,500.

I would settle for an honest 470 mph at 41,010.
