I have noticed this:
1. If droping uphill (calibration point is below target), bombs drop long (past target)
2. If droping downhill (calibration point is above target), bombs drop short (before target)
Two solutions:
A. Compensate by droping early for #1 or late for #2.
B. Pan your bombsite ahead far enough to use the acutal target as your calibration point.
I have found that I like Solution B better than A, but both work!
Also, be carefull about damage to airplanes. If the formation is drifting right because of engine out or other damage, the bombs will fall to the right of the target. Good luck, hope that helps.
