And so this threat is obsolete, but can't be deleted because of it's length.

Easy solution... download the terrain editor, make your own, and submit it to HTC.  Maybe they'll consider it for the MA.  After you're done with that, come back and make another post like this.

Here is a theme I see increasingly in this game. Don't get what you want, cry or whine about it. Think no one is listening because it isn't immediately changed, cry louder. This isn't mature adult behavior, and yes, I know we have some juveniles in the game but the large majority are adults.

Hell, the 'pizza' map may not work for our numbers or it may just plain suck. I think the latter was a foregone conclusion a month ago, but wait, it only came into play a few days ago.

I think HTC have a whine filter that automatically dumps most of the crying going on. If not, they should.
Here we put salt on Margaritas, not sidewalks.

AK's,

He's just a whiner. I like the options that are available here. You can spread out for a liesurely small number fight. Do some base caps. NOE, or other small ops tactics. On the other hand any one who can't find a furball with large numbers here when there are over 200 players online simply doesn't know how to use thier clipboard.

There are options and alternatives with this map. Who CARES if it isn't a replay of WW2. It is a GAME and you have options. Use them.

If you cannot figure out options, I'm sure you can find a copy of crimson sky or red baron somewhere..
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Heh.  Go ahead.  I'm sure HT responds pretty well to being given orders.   :)

I kinda like it (not that anyone cares what I like)

But ask yourself this question.. Do you really think this is what we will have from now to forever?

I think we may have other maps in the future (duhh) Ht is busy working on bugs and has spent a bunch of time on 1.10

so.....   Chill and have fun

things will change  (you may not like all the changes but tough)

but please stop the freaking Wineing

(steps down off soap box and walks away with head heald high)

Actually, overall, I don't have many problems with the map. Just one that I can think of.

The altitudes are so high that it renders alot of lower alt flying planes pretty useless. Which then limits your available planeset choices...Unless they want to fly in the cracks....or get your butt constantly kicked as you struggle not to stall or compress.

I guess what i'm saying is that the B-n-Z portion of the game is now alot more limited.

If the whole map were dropped by about 5k then I'd like it just fine.

I'd still want to see other ones, but this one would be just fine too.

I don't have any problems with the color or the shape or the strat.

Overall I think it was a pretty good job, being as large as it is....just a wee bit too high up is all.
Gone from the game. Please see Spikes or Nefarious for any Ahevents.net admin needs.
