I agree with Del.

+ it isn't fair to compare AH with FA (Air Attack)
The two games aim to do two different things.

AH is a Sim, AA is an arcade representation of the same planes.
and as far as the graphics are concerned i don't remember PacMan having world beating graphics, nor asteroids etc..
Playability, Adictiveness and the community make Air Attack the great game it is.

I heard Air Attack was where the I'm-no-good-at-quake-OR-real-sims-dropouts go.

you'll find theres a great many of us playing AH, of which a lot of us have played it for a long while.
so don't make assumptions like that.

no-one has asked you to stop playing AH, the chances of luring sim fans away to an arcade game is not only unrealistic, but laughable.

Pay nothing, get nothing? err. no, you get a free game that you may like or you may not.

very interesting to note the hostile attitudes towards a free game that doesn't even attempt to compete with AH.

Can I just say. you guys have no lives...

If you want to play flight SIMULATORS i.e. with realistic controls etc, go get flying lessons. But don't knock people for playing a game which imho has better people, better spirit and alot better playability. wtf wants to piss around with their joystick for half an hour just to stay level? when you can be ENJOYING yourself and getting stuck in.

At the end of the day *NONE* of our lot have come on here saying Aces High is crap etc. lucage simply gave a link to those who *MAY* want to try it out, and instead he got grief and abuse towards AA.

Try getting some manners, maybe learn them in school?

hes not bad at AH but I'll kick his bellybutton once we get ADSL installed!

Air Attack WAS good, but with Gameplay gone I lost interest. German AA doesn't have he banter. Any of the old faces still about?  :)
