Microshaft, at it again

Way back when ppl were arguing over the mertis of OpenGL and DirectDraw/DirectX, wasn't M$ trying to get everyone on DirectX (unfortunately for the most part they succeeded)?  Now they are trying to take credit for OpenGL???

OpenGL is normally associated with high-end graphics/CAD use, workstations like SGI's, etc.  The way M$ works, if they start to get into that area (The Almighty forbid), they will market by claiming cheaper, equal functionality, and commonality through use of M$ Office.  Somehow, the dumber workstation users will buy into this and end up in denial as their cheaper and equally functional workstations/OS combos bluescreen while rendering something that wouldn't even faze an SGI/Sun/Cray, etc.

I may start looking more seriously on how to get AH running on Linux...

Microsoft sucks.  Unfortunately I work in a lazy IT department that has the "Screw it, buy Office and be done with it" attitude.  I personally do not buy any of their products and only buy stuff they publish (but do not develop) if I really, really, have to.  (The wife wanted "MS Return of Arcade" really bad.) :D

I think that someday Linux will be in everyone's future, and that's a good thing.
