OH YEAH!!! the entire week after 1.02 was released.  Knights and biscuits kept the rooks down in a corner.  I seem to recall LordHaHa calling several rooks whiners when they complained about that fact.  As a matter of fact, it took the Musketeer Escadrille and TWC switching to Knights before that problem was finally broken.

I dunno if I did that   . I try to never ever call anybody a whiner (and if I did I was probably joking). I think it's kinda rude and shows a lack of appreciation of other peoples feelings.

Discuss the problem, give some points, and hopefully resolve their "mistakeness" but never be so cruel as to say "whiner".

HaHa, you are definitely a whiner and either mistaken or a liar, as I dont recall ever weighing in on this issue and I challenge you to prove me wrong.

Call me a liar? The fact is it was just previous to your post that I was online.. someone said we need 2 countries and you said "no we don't..". In fact, I do believe (90%) sure that you used the word whiner there as well. I remember it, because it seemed really rude and I thought to myself, "sigh another one of these (friendly) people".

Your comments are well received and yes there are valid points but mostly you are just being argumentative. You are unfortunately in {fill blank here} mode and will argue with whatever I say (no matter if it's valid or not).

To everyone else, thanks for all the good comments.. hehe I kind of set myself up to be flamed on this issue. 3 countries is definitely fun but imho I think 2 countries would be more so. Nonetheless, we might just have to wait for something like wwIIonline to try it out

Haha, I think you are referring to me giving Tern some grief.  After he complained about being gangbanged, I typed ".squelch whine" or something like that.  I admit to that, but what you dont know is I have known Tern for over 4 years, and consider him a friend. He helped me get into my first squad when I was a new guy in Warbirds so long ago.

We give each other grief from time to time, but it is always tongue in cheek good natured ribbing.  That was the case online, just teasing him a little.

So, there has been a misunderstanding here, I think on both of our parts.

I try to not take any of this too serious, and I hope others dont either.

Well, all I know is that since TWC went Knight, I now know what its like to take a number.  I actually have gotten a couple well prosecuted kills recently.

For most of all day yesterday and particularly into the evening, the Bishops on-line enjoyed anywhere from a 42-26 advantage over Knights and upwards.  They spent almost 8 hours trying to capture field A2 from Knights, while flying with advantage from 10,000 foot field A1.  I know, because I was there most of the time and if you thought you were being gang banged, then you should have joined the Knights at A2 and been welcomed to "The Alamo".  Wave after wave of B17's hit A2 and I spent hours trying to avoid 4-1 odds with fighter escorts to take them down, eventually totaling 19 kills (17's) and 5 kills (26's).

Perhaps I missed your point, but in any event, I've also been on the "dishing it out" side.  What goes around comes around.  I would not change anything in game play as I have found it thoroughly enjoyable with a great bunch of on-line people.  By the way, are you "LordHaHa"?

Am I the only one who hasn't been able to recognize when a so called "gang banging" is taking place? I log a fair amount of time in the MA, and I've never seen anything like this. Nothing on the country channel has ever suggested we or anyone else has some kind of pact or truce with another country. Perhaps I've been just oblivious to it... or I don't have as good an imagination as some of you. That being said - I still want a 2 sided map   ... for other reasons. It's pretty clear from the folks at HTC that this won't happen, so I'm not holding my breath.

Wow I go a week and a half without flying, and I miss the Bish getting their just payback ?  

Its strange that when 1.02 came out, and the Bish and Knits had Rooks pushed back into a tiny corner except for A1, and the HQ was going down every couple of hours, the comments from bishland if someone complained were "shut up and just play", "stop being a whiner", "It happens to everyone".

Seems they were right   At least on that last part.

I say, "let em gangbang!".  The more they attack us (bishops), the better we will become at coordinating ourselves.

To hold on as long as we have, and be as uncoordinated as we have,....well, it is a testimony to the quality of pilots we have.

Just think how formidable we would be if we really got our act together and formed wings and so on and acknowledged or placed commanders at various fields.

Now that we have acknowledged we are getting gangbanged, lets make the nits and rooks wish they had another country to attack  .

3 resets Fatty. From a point of an interesting fight beeing gangbanded is real fun, and challenging, and I like it. Considering the fact that I hate when the team I play lose and with constant gangbanging during several days the most you can do is to make it later -- I do not like 3 countries.
