Most Distinct Voices
« on: July 13, 2002, 08:07:31 PM »
After a few years of flying in WB on RW and AH with RW and AHVoice, I found only one voice that always stands above and beyond the general chatter! My vote is for….. Maddog!

It’s a voice of reassurance and command, a voice of sarcasm and comedy. Plus, it’s easy to copy over the speakers. What can I say, when I’m working a DX station on ham radio, that’s the type of voice that’s heard over the pileup.

My second pick is Blitz! Hey, if you ever heard him you would swear that you were winging with the Terminator!  ;)

It would sure be nice if AHVoice worked with my system. I can't tell you how many times the 'Check 6' has failed, the wrong guy broke off, and my intentions went unheard. Plus, everyone thinks I'm a mute. :)

Wabbit.

It's not his voice as much as it is the background noises.  He raises African Grey Parrots and they are always squaking like mad.

That's BS, I have the most noticable voice.

It's nowhere mentioned that people are supposed to understand what I say right?

ZEKE!!

Always very clear, and directly to the point with no excess jabber lol.  I dunno where he's from (is), I'm guessing Japan.

Otherwise I think the statement over vox that will stay with me longest over the years was Frenchy telling me how we "kicked thier asses" after we came out on top of a lopsided fight lol.  No, I didn't understand "all" of it hahaha
