I agree that our history is younger than most, but the US Constitution predates the present governments of any on the african continent, Russia, Germany, France, Japan, China, India, Thailand, Canada, Austrailia, any in Central America, Venezuela became independant from Spain sometime around 1810, so probably South America as well....yadda yadda...
So far the list of older governments starts with the writing of the Magna Carta in 1215, and ummm.... i'm sure there are a few more.... maybe Monaco...Sweden? When did Sweden become a constitutional monarcy?
That is the distinction to which I was referring
