The "liberal media" also seems to be able to mention any link a felon might have to the Kennedy family. Even going so far as plugging the Kennedy name into theirs as if thats how they were known.

Remember Micheal "Kennedy" Smith...
or Michael Skakel, Kennedy cousin.

I feel for the family, but he isn't getting it any worse than any public person would in this situation.

btw, I agree with Eagler. Jeb Bush is the best governor we've had in years. However, that's like saying getting bit by a black mamba is better than getting bit by a sea snake.

Well there is always that rare case where even with a good upbringing you get a bad apple, hell, look at chelsea clinton had two bad apples for parents with no good example set at home and she turned out pretty good...You just never know...

She's gotta win the nomination first.

And then I'll look at their respective stances on the issues and vote for the one that best matches my stances.

Bush is doing a good job actually (he fought his own brother on offshore drilling rights. I remember oil globs on my beach when I was a kid. I don't want them back!), but to hold ALL teachers accountable based on the FCAT is a farce at best. It tests reading and math for grades 3-10 and writing in grades 4 and 8 I think. How can you hold a social studies and science teachers accountable based on that? Remember, school grades determine funding, which affects all teachers, not just the math and english/reading teachers. It's a good start, but it's a half-assed one, IMO. Though, it'd be nice to be the founder of the companies that produce FCAT (and similar test) prep software. School districts buy it up like mad, and it does help to increase FCAT scores. The little kids go into the computer labs for extra work on math and reading... during their science and history classes.

Actually, I don't give a rats arse for your policies or politics if they do not affect my life or course of my country. I find it humorous that the rest of the world has such an opinion on what we do here as if it affected their day to day life.

I would look at those 2 pictures you posted Rip and say they were before and after shots.

The 1st before I went out that night and picked her up after a few drinks.

The 2nd when I woke up in the morning and turned over to find that pulling on its jeans and emptying out my wallet. LOL.
