These days I have been examining a lot of old WW2 guncamera film and documentaries.
I have noticed a curious effect that happens in all straffing runs, and in some aerial shooting... ricochetting.
This phenomenon happens not only when a projectile hits an angled hard surface, but also when buried into dirt or water whith an angle of 15-20 degrees or less, actually bending its trajectory upwards. Some sims that reproduce this effect, are those from Microprose, such as 1942 The Pacific Air War and 1943 The European Air War, giving a credible atmosphere to strafing runs.
As every projectile is modeled in AH and all object are 3D modelled, I wonder if it would be possible to reproduce this effect on the sim, and recreate a certainly different atmosphere, apart from the rest of the sims.
Greetings from Spain
