It ain't the net code either Jannerik.

You ever heard of TCP? I'm sure either you or he, or both, were in that mode of transmission.

TCP means that if the packet didn't get there at first, it's gonna keep on trying until it arrives. If it arrives out of order, then you'll be seeing some strange things. Unlike UDP which is a one time deal.

Of course, if you knew about transmission protocols and how PCs communicate, your first assumption wouldn't of been cheating and instead you would of checked on your internet connection to make sure you have a clear, stable path to the Aces High server.

First of all i know what TCP and UDP is . second i check it and i was not on TCP .

Så jeg svarer her istedenfor:
Ja, vi er 100% norske, antallet varierer litt, akkurat nå så er vi kun 3 som flyr aktivt, har vært oppe i 7 tidligere.

Hovedgrunnen til å ha squaden er å kunne samle noen norske å fly med da det er enkelt og greit å kunne snakke på norsk via mic, eller med tekstbuffer.

 

Vi har ingen bestemt tidspunkt vi flyr, når jeg fløy i Warbirds (før AH) så var skvadronen oppe i 32 medlemmer, og vi hadde fast skvadronkveld og samkjørte tokt med andre utelanske skvadroner, og det var skikkelig morro.

 

Men ulempen var at det tok så enormt mye tid å administrere squaden, med hjemmesider, forfremmelser, medaljer, mission rappors og alt det derre.(var rimeligt seriøse)

Så til slutt så sa jeg fra meg ansvaret der (wb), da AH var kommet ut og jeg likte meg bedre her inne.

 

Da startet jeg The Wild Vikings i AH også, og denne gangen skulle jeg holde det på det `useriøse` planet, med andre ord bruke tia på å fly, og ikke alt det derre administrasjons arbeidet.

 

Så hvis du vil joine så fikser vi det, og hvis ikke så ser jeg deg sikkert der inne før eller siden, uansett det er et konge spill dette her, og det blir bare bedre og bedre for hver oppdatering som kommer ut.

Well, when you yourself admitted to having several discos... and your stats prove it. Then this fella has a whole lot of discos, and his stats prove it...

then wouldn't something tell you that it probably was just a combination of your poor connection and his poor connection, and not him cheating?

umm, I checked that film just out of curiousity. did you start the
recording after you had one of your drones killed, or have you cut
the film? I can't find anything of what you're talking about on the
film. It starts off with you saying:

"and I have it recorded"





and jumping into Topgunz plane, it's very very choppy, surely looks
like lag. My opinion, no cheat...

i started record 2 sec after my plane was shot down , but u still see him hit me after that from 6.2 k  u have to go to external view as fast as possible

See the diddlying film , looks to me like this is the same situasjon Counter strike was a few years back, all denied cheats but still alot of player did cheat. AND STOP call me a whiner .

u see on the film that he shot me and hit from 6.2k thats impossible . and u see him get off me right after becouse i asked how he did that .

I bet u dont even downlaoded it and see it ..right ..........


I just hate cheaters alot and all of you make xuses makes me even more supisious .

I have no idea if cheated or not. However, if i suspected someone of cheating, I would first have a film of the whole incident. Then, instead of coming on bbs & raising a big stink about it, i would simply email the film & my recollection of the event to HTC and have them look at it to determine if was cheat or not.

I was a "cheater" too tonight. I had a good flight with my squaddies and then suddenly as i wanted to engage a 190 at d4.3 "switch to TCP..."
The 190 comes into my sight very fast (way too fast - he was almost standing still) and i could shoot him easy!
BTW before the 190 could follow my squaddy so he must be very fast.
Got the kill tried to land but "Host connection lost"
My squaddy never sees me engaging this 190 and i could bet the 190 either.
So JANNERIK in my opinion this MUST be a connection problem and this time not on ur end but rather on his end.

Wel i dont look for cheats ,cuz i never ever cheats . But i have been a server admin for one of norways best Counter strike servers and i know what type of cheats there is in CS. I guess that if a game is popular , someone gonna try to make a cheat or 2 .  

Lets see .

* 1  autoaim , coud be possible
* 2 Wallhack , IS possible i guess
* 3 Speed hack

and so on ... not hard to think what cheats coud be produced to this game .


Only thing i have a problem with is that blame it on the connection , wel if ALL or atleast alot of people have connection problems then the HOST is not good.

It dosent help that all here say/blame the connection when there coud be cheats out there. YOU players shoud be concerned about cheats and i woud never post this post if i hadnt any proof . view the film ... maybee it is connection this time ..BUT BE VERY CAREFULL ABOUT BLAMING CONNECTIONS for all who suspect a cheat .

Only thing I can tell for sure from this film is that one of you had a very poor connection, Topgunz was warping badly. The proper way to have handled this would have been to quietly send the film to HTC.

this is what happens when a company runs a game server on a isdn connection.  i guess, like the graphics, sound and gameplay, that was cool in 1997 also.  mehk
