Originally posted by Chairboy I have a question: As a chute shooter, do you think that your shooting of someones chute has no effect on their score? It is my understanding that your score is determined in part by a multiplier that rewards X amount for bailing succesfully versus being killed. If you shoot someones chute, you're actively denying them a large percentage of whatever perks they might have gotten for their sortie up to being shot.Explain again why they should thank you? Your argument is faulty.
At any rate, there's no diff in perks between a "killed" and a "bailed". I'm not sure if there's a slight difference in scored points.

Originally posted by Chairboy What if the pilot gave you a good fight, would you still shoot their chute? If you really enjoyed a furball, it seems pretty dirty to actively try and take whatever perks they did earn away. Alternatively, it would be the equivalent of shouting 'HA HA! I shot you down, you suck!' instead of 'Good fight, '
Originally posted by Chairboy [/FONT]Bailed has a perk multiplier of .50 and killed has a perk multiplier of .25, so your assertion that killing a chute has no effect on them is false. Do you argue w/ HTC about that?
