wow what a great  career that must be, except when you're dealing with a group of crappy artists:D But I guess even that can looked at as a challenge.

Hehehe, when I work with artists i hate (not a common occurrence, but does happen sometimes) i just try to find ANY redeeming qualities in the music & focus on those ;) As for great career - well, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they REALLY loved the work itself. Its unsteady pay (freelance), prima donna artists, no real set schedule, and the hours can be long and ardurous. But i do LOVE what i do, so i put up with all the BS that comes with the territory :)

and as far as your strat - lets see, once upon a time i owned a 1957 Gibson L5 hollow body, with the original Johnny Smith pickup. Well, one the way to a gig one fine day i stopped by a friends' place in downtown NYC to borrow an amp for the gig. I double parked the car, locked the doors, ran upstairs for 2 minutes max. When i came back down the trunk was popped and my beautifull L5 was gone, vanished :(

Didn't know you left NYC. Welcome to California, Anton. :)

Thx Sandy :) I didn't want to do it, but i was spending SO much time here working that it just made sense to bite the bullet and move out here. Wouldn't you know it, 2 weeks after moving here i met the woman who became my wife and the mother of our child :) And well, here I am, loving Santa Monica, hating LA, and missing NYC
