Just an little survey...

When you get into a multiple choice 'Eennie, meenie, miney, mo; Pick an con to kill fo sho" sitution, which plane do you pick on first?

Me; I like to kill 190's.. just somethin about em...   My second choice is the F4u's and I gotta say; I get all kindsa giggles outta killin Spitfires.

So; which ones do you kill first; and how many of 'em did yah get last tour? Here's mine.   (all in P51)

Hangtime,
I usually look for hangtime.  Then I get distracted by anything else, chase it, and find Hangtime on my six hosing me down.

I just checked, Hangtime and I are 5 and 2 (Hang-5, esk-2).
Against stangs I am 22 and 7, remove Hangtime from those stats and I am 20 and 2 against non-Hangtime-driven-P-51's.  LOL.
I have had my butt kicked most worstly by N1K's (my old ride), 9/10, ouch.
190's I am 7 and 2, hang
My best ratio is against C-47's, and I probably go for them first.

I always go after the Nikis or La5's I see as for whatever reason, these planes are the biggest threat to me. If I don't force a fight with them, they usually find me anyway. As you can see, the result is horrible. Dunno why, but there it is.

Nash has 10 kills and has been killed 11 times against the La-5FN.

Actually, I always go for B-17s first. I don't know why, I'm useless at attacking them and almost always get my radiator damaged, but hey    

Oh, and funked, your Typhoon vs Panzer stats rock man   2:4 heheh  

Panzer seems to be one of the more deadly craft around... vs aircraft it has a k/d of

2695/1716... or 1.5. Crazy!

I tend to regard P51's as a 'gimmie' too.

My favorite targets while flying P-38:
B17G:baby seal if you do it vertical
N1k2: nothing is a fatter target than an n1k2 a 25k  
f4u1c/d: baby seal
fw190: f4u1 but easyier to kill and they cant run away
la5: says: kill me im in an la5 at 25k
spit5: slow and easy to run away from if I screw up  
typhoon: a rare treat to find a turning typhoon to smite  


my least favorite a/c to fight/kill when flying p-38L:

P-51d: flies around on fumes and runs away when you corner em
109g10: even when attacking the 109g10 is running away  
c205: most deadly airplane in the game in my opinion: a tough nut to crack.
C:47: I hate trying to kill these goons, they are always on the deck and I always ignore 10 cons above me just to dive down at 600mph and shed my wings to lawn dart next to them.

I look for the most dissimilar plane to the one that I'm flying and try to engage him when I have an advantage.  When I fly the p51 I try to find spits. (15 to 7 versus them in all planes)

When I'm flying a C205 I try to find E fighters that are low on E.

Having JG2 in Knightland means I don't often get to shoot at 190s. (I think I found 3 this whole tour.   ) I decided to fly a 190 myself for a couple days and surprised myself.  When I flew it like I fly the p51 I was 13 to 0.  Later 2 tanks and a bomber killed me, so I finished at 15 to 3.  (I can't wait to try the A5.   )  The A8 is good only if you have 5k or so to use against an enemy.  When a 35k P38 comes flying in you better run home fast.

Unfortunately I didn't have too much time this tour to spend flying AH, so I didn't even break 100 fighter kills.

Hmmm...what planes do I work on first?  Prolly the ones that are going to run once they realize they made a mistake (La5s, 190s and 51s).

Obviously SA needs consideration since Im not gonna drop on a La5 if there are bogies higher than me.
