:) Loved it. I have to note that Pyro has come a long way from his previous style of providing spartan answers to good questions. This intervie and May's with SimHQ were pretty darn good. Very informative and quite uplifting..

I'm enjoying AH now and what lays ahead with 1.08 and those just after is making me drool (in a non-FDB of course).

Thought Baddawg's questions were great - nice job! The answers weren't too shabby at all either... very forthright and lots of detail. 1.08 is sounding *a lot* bigger than I expected.

Very good interview.  They asked a lot of the questions I'd have asked myself.  Good to get confirmation that the ME262 will be in the next release.  And WOW, the Hurricane IIc will be one of my main rides.  Ya gotta love those 4 Hispanos with 400-500 rounds   :D

Am also really looking forward to train busting.  Hope they modeled the steam bursting thru the engine as I've seen on actual gun camera footage.  That'll be awesome.

Hope they don't up the minimum requirements too much.  I can't afford to go buy a new computer just to play...

I can't tell you how depressing the news on 1.08 is for me.

I'm struggling to find a reason not to cancel my account.

Hurricane IIc: 334mph, slower than the A6M5b and Ki61.
Me262: 540mph
P-51H: 480mph.

The arena gets faster and faster, and 1945 gets more and more emphasis.

Not only are the aircraft I like not being added, they won't even be viable if/when they are.

This really sucks.  It is a huge let down.  3 versions now and squat that makes the game more enjoyable.

All that adding the Hurricane does is allow those who don't like RAF aircraft to say we've got 7 aircraft.  It is absolutely useless in AH.  Its a scenario only aircraft. (The ammo count is off in the cockpit shot.  It should read 182 in each bank, 91 rounds per gun)

This is rambling and sounding very negative.  But it is how I am feeling about it.

At least the models look really nice.

I look foreward to hearing German aircraft fans whine about the 262 and complain about how "easy-mode" and over modeled the Hurricane is.  :(   After all, an arena, the CT, has been created that favors the German aircraft combat styles and they still whine about the Seafire.  :(

I hate to say this because I know HTC has been working hard on 1.08, but I am very disappointed by what I've seen.

I doubt I'll cancel my account, but this really sucks. The most enjoyable version of AH was 1.05.  :(

I agree w/ Karnak--it's sad to see planes in AH that never saw action...(p-51H)

The Me262 and Hurricane MkIIc are really, REALLY nice looking models though.

WTG Natedog and Superfly.  They look a lot better than the earlier models.  You guys just keep getting better and better.

I can't wait to see what you'll do with the Mosquito.

If I start seeing ME262's in the arenas I think I'm going to be flying B-17s at high altitude a lot more.  Just for the chance of removing a few perk points from someone's stash.  <eg>

I do like seeing the Hurricane because (and only because) I think it's a hint of the future direction of Aces High in that they will be adding earlier aircraft.  Did the interview say they are adding more than just these two aircraft with 1.08?  Though not a Hurricane fan, it looks like we may be one step closer to seeing Wildcats and Warhawks in the game.  After a few more early-war aircraft, the Combat Theater will start to mature and will probably see more numbers participate.  I also think the MA will become a late-war arena just because early planes will not survive there and the CT will become more (but not limited to) an early-war arena with rotating theaters of action (plane sets.)  I like what I'm seeing.

I have a bottle of single-malt scotch vintage 1975 brought back from Scotland by a friend of mine a few years back.  I don't drink anything but an occasional beer and am willing to ship this off in exchange for some early-war Southwest Pacific Theater aircraft.  (I figure it's worth a try.)
