Peace in the Valley?
« on: August 19, 2002, 01:23:36 PM »
After reading the usual threads about this not being right or I want this instead of that, do you think there will ever be a point in time where folks are satisfied? Will HTC implement the players wishes or follow their own plan? Will there ever be satisfaction for those who yearn for more?

Just eating lunch and the thought crossed my mind:)

Maybe when you can't tell its a game being played on a computer anymore.

I seriously doubt HTC will ever be fully satisfied with this product... much less the players.  At least... I hope that's the case.  I'd hate to think they'd ever stop improving it.

No.  As the saying goes, a squeaking customer is a happy customer.   Or, you can get them all laid and they'd STILL find something to complain about.  :)

Take a look at the link in my sig, and all will be revealed.

Though, there are two types of posts about things not being right.  Whines, and genuine attempts to help improve the game.  It's not that we're not satisfied, just that we see ways we think the game could be made even better.

Then there are the irrational "FIX IT I DONT LIKE IT!" whines, which are a sad fact of online games.

The real question is 'Will HTC be ever satisfied with their creation'?

Personally, I don't believe so. And that's a very good thing for us ;)

No.  Whiners will whine.  It's what they do.

No matter how much HTC improve the game, somebody will play it so much that they get tired of it, and then they will feel the need to share their frustration with us.

The only way HTC can stop the whining is by including Prozac prescriptions in the price of the game.
