Skuzzy I know exactly what you mean.

I have 4 T-1's here for the town I live in (very small resort town.. like 1500 people off-season.

It took over 9 months to get Qwest to install it.. they still didn't do it right (I had to rig some lines myself) and if I call the C.O., they can't figure out which circuits are mine, or if they work, or what they're for, or which number is which, etc.

on CSU's forget it.  I get the same thing "looks good on my end".  while I tell the idiot that the csu is in my hand without power.

AT&T isn't hiring.  It just buys out other companies and lays off the most expensive ones - and guess who was getting all of the promotions and pay raises during their careers.  Yep, the ones that knew what they were doing.

Gotta love life after deregulation.

Well Furious, I am just trying to find a job.  Apparently, my marketable skills are in low demand right now.

12 years marketing
22 years networking
20 years UNIX administration
9 years UNIX systems programmer
18 years C programming
7 years WEB site development

and sundry other tidbits.  It overlaps, so don't add it up and try to figure out my age. :D

Wlfgng, I hear ya.  Any of the big LEC's are pretty much the same.  They seem to like it that way for some reason.

You don't spend enough time in the Monistary.

Malaysian Monkeys on Crack.  The same ones that Broadwing hires.

Global Crossing hasn't provided us access for three months, but they're still sending us bills.  I get to pop the head of my (former) account rep like an over-ripe pimple tomorrow.  Should be in a perfect mood by the start of the TOD.

LOL....

I have an XO T-1 with a 50/50 voice data split....we kept dropping our voice and data...everything kept "testing" fine....till the over due bill hit about $ 8,000. Seems that was a magic number to tech support. finally tracked down a bad repeater.

No techie....No checkie

Skuzzy , I could use you help fixing and finishing my web page, (i just have no time) I could pay you for your time ( depending on price) Email me at Dflora@GraphixOne.net or call me 1-215-333-6510 ( reverse the charges , I'll pick up the tab) or email me your number and a good time to call, if interested.

NUTTZ
P.S. If you do call, just tell my Secretary your "skuzzy" from the internet, Or your call will go into the trash can with the rest of the phone solicitors:)

18 years C programming? really?  At one time c programmers were referred to as cnobs. Seems a term of respect now.
