I don't know where their new stadium is, either.

But don't worry - the New England Patriots will be just fine this year.

Oh, wait.

Ok, you were talking about something else completely.

My bad! ;)

They wouldn't allow me to come back from retirement. :(
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Indirectly, yes it was.  "If it feels good do it"..."Think of yourself first"....I could go on and on of other 60's slogans that basically made almost every American think that he/she was the center of the universe, but it started with the liberal cultural hippies.

Started the re-up process on Sept. 12.  The USMC offered me a commission.  They were attempting to obtain waivers for me for both prior service and age.  Apparently the age waiver was rejected.  I would gladly serve again.

USMC from 1989-1993.  0311.

Read the article and saw this:

"For former Marines like Col. Bill McHenry, who heads the Marine Corps Junior ROTC program at Fort Mill High School..."

There's no such thing as a former Marine.

I think the main problem is indicated by trying to measure patriotism via hits to a web site.

Hey Mav.  You where right, and I was rah...rah...Wrong :), about that presentation box at the wall. That incident prompted me to finally, brake down and buy a new monitor.  I went back to look at that pic to test it.  Sure enough.  There it was plain as day.

The problem now is, this new monitor is playing hell with my gunnery, in the game. My old eyes liked those fat, blurry, dots, I was shooting at.:)

Actually we say, "There's no such thing as an Ex-Marine"

However, you are correct because "Once a Marine, Always a Marine"

The size of the U.S. military is expected to be about 1.4 million in September, the same as before Sept. 11.

In contrast, the military grew from around 1.5 million after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 to more than 10 million by September 1945, according to Pentagon figures.

Am I missing something here?  The armed services population are at the prescribed level by congress now. We *can't* legally grow any larger than we are without NCA and congressional say-so. We activated many reservists and gaurd units and then.. after we realized how much it was costing to keep them activated, released them from duty.

BTW, the ARMY and the AF are already at there recruiting levels for the next fiscal year.
