I love the first one. A dedicatede spoof olf the 60s spy movie genre in particular and the Bond films in specific. It was witty, fresh (so much as parody can be) and told a story that had redeaming value, imho.
The second movie was simply a parody of the first. Same jokes, only moreso. It no lnoger seemed fresh and witty, and they threw out the redeaming value from the first movie. But at the same time, it was pretty funny.
*********************mild spoiler***************
The third movie. Worth the cheap ticket. Not much more. Foxy Cleopatra stole the show if you ask me. I had hoped that they would spend more time in the 1970's and could bring back the theme of contrasting social values, but instead they only stopped there long enough for a few sight gags and to pick up a sidekick.
I think I'll just watch the first one on video tape this weekend.
