Damage modeling on structure should be the same as on aircraft

Structure and ships should have the same damage modeling as aircraft.  Currently the last person to put a bullet into a structure when it is destroyed is awarded the "kill" no matter how much damage someone else did.  I'm not a point potato or anything but I do like ground attack and it would be nice to get the credit after doing most of the work.

You're talking about how kill awarding is calculated, not damage modeling.  Damage modeling is about how an object (meaning aircraft, GV, boat, ship or building) takes damage.  Aircraft, GVs and boats have detailed damage systems.  Ships and buildings simply have a "hit point" total.

I'm not a game designer, but to me "damage modeling" would seem to include calculation of who did what damage.  If this is wrong then excuse my ignorance.  But I hope my point is still clear enough ;)
