Wow, after rhetoric like that, I'm glad I ditched my AW CPID and can pass myself off as a rookie! :D

And for those who know my previous AW history, here's a pre-emptive STFU! ;)

Which opens a new can of worms. Seems to me he was a member until very recently. Did you guys wise up and kick him out ?

The "Robey" character is a real USAF veteran BTW...

So Paul Hinds said he was a B-2 pilot and 'astronut?'

The following is an extract from private email he sent me in response to
questions raised about his background.

[Hinds' Response]

Not that it's anyone's business; I was a zoo animal in '77-'79 before I
transferred out to MIT under cooperative education with
"Lockheed-Martin"
and later "AeroDyne Industries." At Lockheed-Martin I tested several
aircraft that were testbeds for technologies implemented in later types.
I
did a lot of company work, too. In '83 the Air Force decided it was time
to
launch my true career, which is not a subject for discussion.

************************************

Stop for a moment...he started at the USAFA in 1977, and would graduate
in 1981. And he managed to conduct flight tests sometime between 1981
and 1983? Okay, UPT (AF pilot training) takes 12 months, and guys finish
with approximately 200 hours in jets. Sooooo, here we have a guy with
200 hours in jets conducting industry flight tests between 1982 and
1983. Sure I believe him.

Back to our story

> So can you tell me when you were stationed at the Zoo? I'm finding it

> named John back in 1984 that became a navigator.

There is a Bruce, from my family, that graduated in the early 70's (not
sure of the date). He was chief test pilot on the B-2 project.
********************************************

Anybody got something they want to share?

Robey...Spanish Inquisitor

There was no such company as Lockheed-Martin for this person to work for between 1979 and 1983.   Lockheed and Martin Marietta didn't merge until '94/'95

Unless you actually lost any money or wasted any time or were inconvenienced in any way, then what is the point of continuing a 6/7 year old vendetta ?

Of course you could just be malicious ?

Wipass, if someone who ran his life into the gutter, didn't have any money, begged for it, and only used whatever money they got to get boozed up...

started telling you how to live your life and everyone around you, would you remind them of how toejamty there's was and inform the other people, or would you just ignore it and walk off?

Malicious or not, Voss has a holier than thou attitude when he has no justifiable way to act like that.

I propose an AW "realoldtimer" response to these upstart pantywaist poopyheads. All you guys who remember why Bigweek is called Bigweek! All you guys who know what a Genie has to do with flight sims. All you guys who had a home computer with the brand name "Atari"! I say lets show them how to die like dweebs!!!!!!!!

The point?  So no one else in the flight sim community gets taken by a crook.

I remember when Bigweek was in beta.  I seem to recall flying a 109, but I don't remember much more than that so I must've been killed early on.

Heyas Buzzard!

Sorry to disappoint you, but what I tend to do with our squad is the squads business...we've always done business that way.:)

Many know us here as well as some old turds like yourself from back in the day....was never aware we had a can of worms to be opened, much less anything to do with the TAS drama other than an unfortunate sharing of the namesake.

Did I misunderstand your post?

Btw....how ya been Tex...been a long time:)

LOL Pongo!

Actually, I used to fly AW3 as W.Vss or WVoss as I loved the WWI flying. After reading about the various WWI aces I liked Werner Voss the best (His flying the Fokker F.1 103/17 against multiple (6-9 depending on source) enemies on his last fight was heroic. I've been somewhat of a 'fan' of W.Voss. I thought it was neat to see another Voss 'fan' here at AH. That's where Voss aka Paul Hinds said to me he was a decendent of Werner Voss through one of W. Voss' relatives. I emailed him a link to blindKats' site on Werner Voss (has very good info on him and his plane.). Hinds emailed me back and thanked me for the info as he said he didn't know this info existed.

Unless the MOL was responsible for that disastrous WB version that caused our entire squadron except Worr to switch to either AH or Evercrack...

Oh if only MOL could take the credit for exiling the rif-raf outta the game, we proudly would do so, but alas, the credit must be given where due, and for that one notable accomplishment I must point to Wild Bill and his band of merry men.   :D
