I started out in AW in the last days of AW AOL (November 97 I think?)right before the beta of AW II.  I switched to the beta of AW II and played as RINGR (DEAD RINGER)from there on until thew EA days, where I finally got fed-up with the whole affair.

Not playing as much here, but having a great time.

As I recall you were just about unbeatable way,
WAY back then.  Getting a shot at you or, I think it was Robert Shaw (author of Modern Fighter Tactics)  (you both flew now n' again),, was a high honor.

Is this one in the same DoKtoR GoNzO ???

If so,, I just gotta' ask:

HOW THE F%&$ OLD ARE YOU MAN?  I'm old, but you gotta' be way older..  (no offense)  Good luck, god bless..

I just found this topic as a result of running into 715 in a different topic.  Man, there are so many topics of essentially the same content here.

Heh!  8 points worth of score for me. :)  That was my first brief exposure to AW.  Off that early list, I've here seen DoKtor Gonzo, LongHorn, Airmigan (although he isn't flying yet), and now 715.

Started out when AW was free on AOL as SIK1 flew bz with the fighting 59th.
When AW switched over to Gamestorm I was recruited into the 444th Air Mafia by JBKidd and became az, been with the Mafia ever since.
I have had the same handle all along though I did have a shades account as choas in AW.
444th Air Mafia since Air Warrior
Proudly flying with VF-17 The Jolly Rogers

I tried WWIIOL for a while, I was a beta tester. I just got tired of it one day. After AW, I got tired of everything, and gave up flight sims and war sims for a while. But like the rest of the addicts, I came back. And landed here.
