"if its true, he will fire her. He said that 1 hour ago."

So in other words they will all just get drunk on champaigne and other booze, Fischer will bring in some of straffo's 15 year olds, all will be forgotten , life will go on and that awful woman will still have her job.

:D

Straffo if some 20 year old American ran off to a foreign country with the intent of defiling a youth like Fischer did he would be a child molestor upon his return. Interesting to see that some substantial portion of the German voting population did not find this at all disturbing, or the fact that he violently assulted police officers and directly aided known terrorists.  This man should be in jail, not represnting the German people on the world stage.

Well ... I don't say I agree of disagree ;)
I was just pointing the fact that each country as it's own rule ...

For exemple when my wife come to colorado at the age of 19 she was quite surprised to be unable to have a single beer ...

In France if you are with a adult you can have one at the age of 14 (or 16 I'm not sure but at 14 it work ;)) and buy one on your own at 18

That's perhaps why when I was student each time I started an alcoolic competion with some US student they ended completly drunk wayyyy early than me ....

In fact they were out of order when I was just starting to need to have a piss ;)

But I must said that I was ruled by some German student  :p

I read Fischer lost a lot of weight before entering his career in political subterfuge, so that is a good source of incouragement for some people wishing to get healthier.... Maybe now he can change jobs, becoming a cook in Turkish restaurant to show us all how inspiring he can be.  :D

In the old Yugosalvia there was no legal alcohol or cigarette age that I remember. So I was sent on errands to buy alcohol and cigarettes wnen I was 7 or 8. But I dont smoke or drink, so go figure. :)

About Ms. Däubler-Gmelin, who supposedly said that "it (starting war in the face of domestic problems) is a widely used practise throughout history, Hitler did it before"...

... was reported to have done so by one reporter present at that seminar;

... when other reporter's didn't hear the same sentence.

... the article about it appeared in only one, let's say, CDU-near, headpaper;

... 3 days before elections.

Now you tell me it was a maneuver of the SPD to win the elections ? I say it's a rumour, no a lie, placed by the CDU to make the SPD look bad. Remember, the old Nazis didn't join the SPD, but the CDU.

If this is true - so why 3 labor union (I hope its the right word for the german word Gewerkschaft) representatives who were also present when Gmelin compared Bush jr with Adolf Hitler confirmed that she exactly said this words and would affirm this by oath ?

Gmelin is a pityful coward. She tried to play the anti-America-game of Schröder who promised the german people that germany will not support the USA in case of an atack against Iraq - even if there is an UNO-mandate.

She said this Hitler-Bush-sentence while she was speaking with labor union representatives. Maybe she has not expected that her Nazi-comparison of Bush was noticed. But it was.

And when it was published she just said that she had never spoken out these words.

Now the SPD-propaganda tries to blame the reporters for doing their job.

But fact is that she said it and she will not be minister in the next german government (which is good, because its one liar less).

Also the Bundesrat is under CDU-control - so Mr. "Amok" Schroeder and his chaotic green allies could not pass new laws easily through this council.

And last but not least the communists have been washed out of the Bundestag ans will not influence german policy ans longer.

OK:

Supposed u have a girlfriend named Uschi and u and she dont agree in opinion about a certain subject. Does this mean u are an Anti Uschi?
No, surely not.
So is Schroeder Anti US? No, he's aware of the friendship between the USA and Germany.

To Mrs. Gmelin:
There are many politicans here in Germany which seams to have a little problem with knowing what to say (Stoiber is a very good example). So dont bother.
If I would post here everytime I think Bush is telling BS I could cancel my job.
:D

........and if shes named Muschi.........antimuschi? Nope not the "kid", not here;)

But seriously, I've been living in Ger. for 15 yrs now. Never had a problem with Anti-Americanism.

Most Germans, I know at least, found the remarks made by "Double Gremlin" wrong, and disgusting.

Yep it is digusting and nothing else and she's gone!
I'm really asking me what's up with our politicans whether it is Gremlin (BTW she looks like one) Stoiber Möllemann Stölzl ...
But I'm really asking me too, why Mr. Bush neglects the minimum diplomatic standard by not congratulating the legal winner.
This is distressing and childish and looks like he's mortally offended by Mr. Doesnt agree to all Schroeder.
He should take a look at his own country. If I'm right here the acceptance concerning a war against Irak in the US is not to high.
