About Ms. Däubler-Gmelin, who supposedly said that "it (starting war in the face of domestic problems) is a widely used practise throughout history, Hitler did it before"...
... was reported to have done so by one reporter present at that seminar;
... when other reporter's didn't hear the same sentence.
... the article about it appeared in only one, let's say, CDU-near, headpaper;
... 3 days before elections.
Now you tell me it was a maneuver of the SPD to win the elections ? I say it's a rumour, no a lie, placed by the CDU to make the SPD look bad. Remember, the old Nazis didn't join the SPD, but the CDU.
If this is true - so why 3 labor union (I hope its the right word for the german word Gewerkschaft) representatives who were also present when Gmelin compared Bush jr with Adolf Hitler confirmed that she exactly said this words and would affirm this by oath ?
Gmelin is a pityful coward. She tried to play the anti-America-game of Schröder who promised the german people that germany will not support the USA in case of an atack against Iraq - even if there is an UNO-mandate.
She said this Hitler-Bush-sentence while she was speaking with labor union representatives. Maybe she has not expected that her Nazi-comparison of Bush was noticed. But it was.
And when it was published she just said that she had never spoken out these words.
Now the SPD-propaganda tries to blame the reporters for doing their job.
But fact is that she said it and she will not be minister in the next german government (which is good, because its one liar less).
Also the Bundesrat is under CDU-control - so Mr. "Amok" Schroeder and his chaotic green allies could not pass new laws easily through this council.
And last but not least the communists have been washed out of the Bundestag ans will not influence german policy ans longer.
@OSSI : Bleibt zu hoffen, daß Schröder und seine Bande nicht die ganzen 4 Jahre an der Macht bleiben. Das hat Deutschland weiß Gott nicht verdient.
