 Everything seems to be doing alright.  The depression has come back a bit in the past few days. But that is because I went over to my ex-girlfriend's house.  The same one that I broke up with in such a manner that she didn't talk to me for 3 months and says I have no chance now.  The same girlfriend who went from 140lbs to 115 and looks like a super model now

 Other than that everything is hunky dorry  all surgery wounds are healed and I still have a job so life goes on

TO Carrot.

A friend of mine has just went though a Brain Tumor.  He thankfully  is recovering well after a long hard road. Not only for himself but his very brave family of wife son and daughter. 2 of the best kids I have ever known. All looked after well by a husband and mate who made it back to us. He never gave in.

I remember Carrot and his toons from the WW2OL BBS tho ive never had any direct contact with him.  Good Luck to you Carrot and to your family. I sincerly hope you and your family remain strong and wish you the very best.

Brazos,  after reading your post, I registered on this board just to post this:

Carrot has been a part of the online flight sim scene for years, back when AW and WB were the only games in town. Many of those folks have moved on to other games. That is the only reason HC posted here, in case some of the folks that knew him weren't flying WB or "that other game" and hadn't heard about what he is going through. I won't go into the details since you wouldn't care.

Consider our friendship over.

I dont know anything about Carrot Braz, but regardless of who or what the man is like, im sure his family think of him differently and as yours may be, in a different kind of pain where any support is appreciated.

Had I known of your condition, whatever it might be, I would offer and do offer you the same support.  Its the decent thing to do, whether I know you or not and helps us all in the end be more thoughtful of others in more dire predicaments than ourselves currently find us in.

Braz,  mine is the aftermath of colon cancer with mircroholes in the intestine. Doing a 12 month chemo. The guys in these sim forums got me thru some tough times.  What is happening with you?

Deja, Animal bad call guys. Carrot was an early WBer, there are a lot of old fart WBers here. Carrot and Raxx were in CK (WB beta) when I arrived, and were the only other Kiwis in there for some time.

While =hard= and I may slog it out over WW2OL, I flew alongside =hard= many times as a Frog in WB. I have the a lot of respect for him and I can assure you hes not toejamting you (even though hes been obviously been brainwashed by CRS ).

There are a lot of old fart WBers here who are happy to help out AND happy for Hard to ask. Please do not confuse that squeak-fight monster WW2OL thread with a guy trying to do a good thing.

Hard, $5 on the way from moi, being a fellow Kiwi, a fellow WBer, and having a mother been through chemo I can sympathize with Carrot even though I didn't know him that well.

Just saying, they (Animal and DJ) aren't all that out of line... this IS the internet.

Absolutely agree on the scam things SW, they are a dime a dozen these days. But if you're not sure on one like this its best to let it lie rather than make a less than positive comment. Carrot was involved in the very early CKs, I think I came in at about 0.83, and he was getting less involved then, hence I didn't know him that well but got too know Raxx better. I believe Carrot and Raxx have been involved with HT a lot in their betas, both AH and WB.

I was just saying 'bad call', coz I know hard, and I know of Carrot. I also know DJ and Animal are good sorts and thats why I only said 'Bad call' and the rest of my comments are just to let you guys know Hard would be on the level.

Hardcase...  I hate to agree with Deja, but this is the internet after all.  Maybe you could get "Jill" to provide the Hospital (apparently Mercy) along with the city address and even a phone number.  Anyone doubting the reality of the situation could call to verify.  Hospitals don't make a big secret out of "who" is in what room usually.
