Thanks skuzzy, I was worried that a post here would start something that wasn't intended.  Of course, Revvin takes a few quotes out of context.  Such as:

"I will be attacked by all the AH knuckleheads out there."  This was me talking about the TV commercial, which i said I didn't like, but WBs doesn't even have one.  If you are insulted by "knucklehead", I don't know what to say.

"Those of you who fly AH, get hit by a bus."  Sentance after that>>>"Except for funked.  He's funkadelic.   Revvin, it's called tongue in cheek humor.  I thought it worked.

"It is arcadish, and it is exactly what I would expect in Aces High".  This was a heated arguement with AH guys about AI bombers.  I don't like it, not even in WBs, which I have been vocal about.

"Stay in your own frigging board"  Um, I believe this was typed to Goober after he called me a loser and a few other things.

"What's Aces High doing this weekend, a big k3wl doodz late war gang bang with rail guns?"  Another arguement on our board with AH posting there.

As for the Jordi thing, I am sure he has done great things for AH scenarios, , good for you guys.  My feelings are mine, and have nothing to do with AH, but date back to B-17II.

In summation, the reason things are so difficult to cross post is that it seems like a pissing match 99% of the time.  I am sure there are WB guys that come here and post caustic remarks, which I don't support.  You don't go to another yard and dump garbage.  I have to believe that almost all the time that anyone talks bad about the other sim is when they get provoked so far that it is hard to just remember it's a sim, and that is true on both sides, I am sure.

Anyhoo, I hope to see some of you guys there.  It should be a blast.  Maybe I can make a PNW AH con, if Ripsnort ever gets one going.  That would nice to put faces to callsigns, and ya know, thats pretty much what it is all about.

Horrido!

Out of context? you're quick enough to make AH players feel unwelcome at AGW, to tell them what you think of AH in the brashest way you can. If anyone dares mention AH on AGW you jump on them so don't play the injured party here.

You have'nt even got the courage of your convictions and stand by what you said about Jordi on AGW.

You're full of it! you're quick enough to moan about posts belonging in off topic at AGW what part of the description of the O'club do you not understand? "Open forum for off-topic and less serious discussions" You're a hypocrite! You're quick to jump on the AH guys posting on AGW's main forum but not so when it's buddies posting about IL-2 or WW2OL where you happily took part in discussions.

So quit playing the poor hard done by Hedu who only wants to be friends and take a dose of your own medicine..not very nice is it?

Revvin, I am not gonna bite on your remarks.  You can write what ever you want into it, I merely posted so that any current AH guys who wanted to go to the museum with us were welcome.  I thought it would be alot of fun.

As for the Jordi thing, my feelings are just that, mine.  I am sure Jordi does great things for your scenarios and all, and for that.  But I don't go to another mans house and and bad mouth him.  And that is where i leave it, and maybe you could learn to leave it at that too.

Hblair, you better be going!

Revvin, that phrase "so hard done by".  Is that a british phrase?  I have only heard that phrase one place before, and that was a Tragically Hip song, and their Canadian.  I have never heard that used here in the States.

Lacking the courage of your convictions, you were keen enough to pass the comments even in a thread that had nothing to do with Aces High on AGW.

Perhaps you should also practice what you preach the next time an AH player posts on AGW.

Revvin, AGW is MY HOUSE.  And your right, it wasn't about AH.  It was B-17II.

Please remember that.  Can we drop it now and see if people can get together and have some fun?

Hmmm.... maybe I should advertise the UK Aces High Convention (25-27 October - http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=65972 ) on the Warbirds Forums? After all:

"All current and ex-players of massively multiplayer online flight sims are welcome to come along (and bring partners)."

:)

Correction it's ARGO's house and as a Warbirds and Aces High player I'm just as welcome as you and I don't particularly take kindly to be made to feel unwelcome especially from a player I attempted to help in regards to your latest joystick purchase and your thread was about CFSII but you had to have the snide dig at Jordi but I'm sure he's a big enough boy for it not to distress him too much.

Yeah I'll drop it but perhaps you'll extend the same courtesy and extend this 'a bunch of like minded prop-heads' the next time someone mentions Aces High at AGW.

Honestly guys, worr does a heck of a convention!

Where's funked?

I can't go this year, bingo vacation time and $$$.
Nice to meet you last time, and have a beer or 50 for me.  :)

Anybody who can go to this Con, you should go.  Even if you don't give a hoot about the game WarBirds, the speakers are worth the price of admission at these things.  And the attendees are pretty entertaining too.  RG suite rocks.  :)

Revvin, we are all allowed our views.  If you didn't like what I said about Jordi, hey, fine, thats your right.  But do you think when I put it there I was thinking, "Gosh, I hope I offend Revvin"?

I saw your post in that thread and didn't understand what you were trying to say.  I saw your post about "profile" and was trying to figure out what your profile said.  It's not a case of automatically disliking soemone just because they are from AH, it is the constant bashing we get from guys who don't fly our sim.  And I know in the past you have had WBs guys do the same thing here too, and it's plain B.S.

You can see int hat same thread goober and I get into it.  Goober has also posted alot of anti-warbirds stuff, and people get tired of it, especially in their own bbs, and especially from someone who doesn't fly this sim.  I am positie it is the same way here.

Revvin, funked flies AH, and we get along great.  I have kidded with Ripsnort, my old squad X/O is over here.  I even had one of your guys make me an AH playing card with my 109 in it.  Please make the difference in reason as to why people become defensive or arguementative.

Revvin, man, the pendelum swings both ways.

Love my Cougar, gonna take a while to figure out, tho.  Can you get trim adjusted to a wheel?
