you have control over your trigger. You also can check around before you fire. SA aint just about where the bad guys are.

you only die in ks when you pull the trigger. Either learn better SA or learn to live with dieing in ks.

Viking it is not possible for someone to get in front of your plane without having at some point been within your range of view.

Because you did not look does not mean they were out of view.

I've lost a 262 once to something which was impossible to avoid, short of ignoring the con.

You've got to be kidding. Again, Fatty, Wotan and others, why is it my resposibility to watch my fire and look around a half a second before I pull the trigger? The resposibility lies with the piloting skills of the other pilot to watch out where he flies!

If I can fly thru a friendly then I should be able to shoot thru a friendly. Get consistant HTC!

And without KS, you'd be saving me from the enemy and shooting me down yourself in your scenario -- I don't see how I'm any worse off now.

Besides, since the Skulls are no more, I don't see that either of us is obligated to clear the other's 6, especially when the other has allowed an enemy to fly so far up his butt that a clean shot is impossible. The enemy on my butt is my problem, or my wing's.

That said, I've done plenty of 6 clearing, and have never ever killed myself accidentally with killshooter. I suspect it's because I'm firing to scare the enemy off, rather than for the kill per se. This means that I take short bursts at long range; the bullet drop makes it unlikely that fire hitting the enemy will also hit the friendly, and the short burst limits my exposure to KS.

I think I have died to KS twice, maybe, and both times I was fooling around shooting at squad mates -- intentional KS death.

Haha, ya I'm sure, Fatty, that when your 300ft behind a bogie while he's jinking back and forth and you're using throttle, flaps or whatever to get in position for the kill that you stop and look around to see that no one flies between you or from behind. Please be on my six when you do that. When you go to reaquire me, I will be positioning myself on your 6.

I'm sure when that happens to you it's because someone didn't give you a check6 call though, not because you didn't look around.

Haven't you learned the first rule of Aces High? When you are shot down or die, it is never your fault. It is always one of the following (or a combination)

1) warper/lagger/bad connection
2) cheater/hacker/engine toggler
3) gangbang
4) killshootered b/c some tard flew into your bullets while trying to steal your kill
5) nobody gave you a check 6
6) the person that got you was in a dweeb plane

Man, I would have thought you would have known this by now.

I would say that my respect for you was further diminished by your idiocy, but that would be impossible. I never had respect for you in the first place.

I'm never as scared as I am when there's an enemy in front of me flying straight and level -- I assume I'm being suckered until I know I'm not.

I agree with Whels. KS is a joke and a bad one. It's only happened to me 3 times. All 3 times was a long me vs 1 other plane fight where I almost had him. In for the kill from 400' and some dweeb comes up from under us. I get to see the nose of the plane coming up and boom I'm in the tower. Fair? NO. Cool? NO. Stupid? YES.
