So how's v1.11 coming?
« on: October 09, 2002, 07:19:46 PM »
No news on it since July 24th.

How's the mission theater concept working out?  Any screenshots
of new planes you could show us?

I know it'll come when it comes, but its always nice to have a screenshot or three ahead of time to whet the appetite.

Please, let's not start with the 'two weeks' stuff again. It's like an annoying alley cat, no matter how many times you throw your boot at it, it keeps coming back.

Okay, then how about 1,209,600 seconds?

Ya... funny thing is that the "annoying two weeks" thing never crops up unless one of these threads does.

And Ak-Ak... that's a night-time effect?  I thought it was just a modified lighting effect that they showed at night-time for full effect.

Take a look at the cockpit shot at night right at the start of the film.  That at least appears to be a night-specific effect apart from the muzzle flashes.

You obviously wouldn't make a good marketing person. You're just trying to sell the same unoriginal junk under a different name.

I think by now, we should all be able to accept that HTC is not going to say when the next update is coming out. Most reasonable people would then avoid trying to act like the court jester every five minutes and curtail the malicious attempts at feeble humor.

This so-called joke has out lived its comedic attributes and lost its originality long ago. I now equate this to the 'whoopee cushion' and the handshake buzzer, old and out dated. Those that still get a laugh from doing it obviously have deep rooted emotional problems and should seek professional help.

Next time, try something like

I didn't ask how long until v1.11...

I'm just hoping for some news about how the mission theater concept is fleshing out, and looking for some screenshots of new a/c.

Hehe: "two weeks" is no longer a joke it is a tradition. I'd be disturbed if I didn't see it in one of these threads.
