it does hit the frame rate a bit. and you can set the objects to not collide with vehicles, etc.
I think the direction that Nuttz, and myself after his hints, is a better way to go and has less impact on FR.
It's using the TE to reskin certain items.
So 1 object can cover 1 mile square instead of thousands of objects.
it's a layer that 'floats' above the terrain a specified height.
definately just a prelim and needs graphic work but it's similar to how IL2 does it.. helps hide GV's from aircraft.. in forests that is
of course it does little to nothing for the ground war as far as hiding behind objects.
