it does hit the frame rate a bit.  and you can set the objects to not collide with vehicles, etc.

I think the direction that Nuttz, and myself after his hints, is a better way to go and has less impact on FR.
It's using the TE to reskin certain items.
So 1 object can cover 1 mile square instead of thousands of objects.
it's a layer that 'floats' above the terrain a specified height.


definately just a prelim and needs graphic work but it's similar to how IL2 does it.. helps hide GV's from aircraft.. in forests that is :)

of course it does little to nothing for the ground war as far as hiding behind objects.

I like IL2 concept concerning the cover for GV, and I recall HT saying he was looking foward to that also.
