I dunno...

I don't think HTC created the H2H element of AH out of charity. It makes a certain amount of sense to have this there in the hopes that H2Her's migrate into the MA. Which they do. So it then makes sense that there are players actually *flying* H2H for this whole thing to work.

I'm at a loss to figure out what kinda input H2Her's can give here, and what kinda attention they expect to be given... but at the same time this animosity towards them is kinda missing the bigger picture. They're a neccessary part of that migration path and I think it's a good thing for us MA flyers in the long run.

By calling them mooches and leechers, ya make it sound like they're taking advantage of HTC. If that were the case, why did HTC build it?

I reckon there may be a bit of kneejerk anti-freehost sentiment at play here... This is completely different.

yah i'm Nod:) and ppl should respect H2H to some extent because i would say 90% of ppl fly this game because of there love of WWII fighters and bombers and H2H ppl are no diffrent.......u call us moochers but mabey u don't understand alot of our situation.......i've got a perfectly good reason y not to pay 15 bucks a month....... i've got a 91 camaro that had a 502 bigblock but i am replacing it with a 302 chevy small block and yah i only got just below 1.5 gallons to the gallon with the 502 but it's reached 165 in kansas :D  and along with that i am trying to save up to get laser eye surgery cuz i have been told that within the next 5 - 10 years i have a strong possibility of compleatly being blind if i don't get this done.........and i am being dead serious i don't think that i should really pay that 15 bucks lose out on my car and lose out on th chance of sight cuz $15x12monthsx5years equals 900 bucks and thats 900 bucks closer to saving 2 things that are precous to me..........and make fun of me if u will but i could care less

lol i feel like i just gave a "I Have a dream" speech:D

but truthfully i will be able to smile about hittin 165 in kansas more then a single fight in the MA........

humm, sure is a lot of chests puffing up and feathers flying on this one. I see how subscribers can be a bit fired up about free play. I fly MA, I venture to H2H every now and then. H2H folk come up with some neat maps, and they do have some good fliers and MA some awsome fliers. My point is ummm, I donno, I have no point....

Yeah Funked.  I double dog dare ya!         (oops forgive my obvious breach of protocol by jumping past double dare you and going         straight to double dog dare you)

I do have one question for Vorticon...

Doesn't the horse have to be big in order that one is high when seated upon it?

Somehow it just seems a bit pointless to sit upon a small, low horse. It couldn't be very fast, I mean after all it's running on short, stumpy legs, dragging it's belly across shrubbery and such, I should think that alone would most certainly slow it considerably.

And it seems apparent that one would not be able to see very far while sitting upon such a low slung animal.

Nor should I think would one have any sense of nobility when perched knees to chin upon said small horse.

I'm further inclined to believe one's balance would be severely diminished while perched in the above described manner, I can only imagine that one good bounce would easily un-ass said rider from the accordingly reduced sized saddle such a steed would naturally require.

Hence, I have concluded though deduction that "big" is redundent when describing a "high horse".

Which reminds me...
What do you call a dog with no legs?

Nothing, it's not going to come anyway.

I will pay the H2H leeches $15 a month to shut the heck up.
Just call 1-800-KIZ-MIAZ and ask for Hugh Jass.

And I ate the horse.

1st, let me say....  I think the way the majority of the MAiners who have replied have done so in a rather impolite way, not that I suppose it is really any of my business....
But then, I would like to add, that this must be one of the biggest whines I have come across in quite some time. What kind of attention do the H2H players want? What do they seek for their dollar? (oops, I suppose that was uncalled for too) Seriously, state what you want. Perhaps if it has merit and affects more than the H2H players it may get implemented. I think it should be called to your attention Vorticon, that HiTech has bills that must be paid as he is running a business. (Sort of like a paper route, but a bit more complicated) He must, I imagine, endeavor to 1st please the current subscribers, they pay his salary, as well as the gas for that cool new airplane of his. (I think he would've been far happier with a Sorrel Hiperbipe, but that is for another thread).
I can tell you, that as a paying member of AH, I never pay any attention to the H2H game, as I have no reason to. I enjoy what I do in the MAin, and axiously await each new update. If, HT were to suddenly shift his resources to the free portion of the game, he would seriously jeapordize his business.

Again, I have no animosity towards the H2H gamers, and have no doubt that many of them could more than hand me my hat. Just don't come here whineing that you get no attention.

My thoughts exactly, Nash. IMHO, the HTH guys are welcome here. Still... you guys need to get an account and come play with us in the big room. :)

IMO HTC can give the H2H players whatever they want, as long as it doesn't take them away from giving the subscribers the service they are paying for. ;)

I played H2H for a little while when I cancelled my subscription for a couple of months.  I much preferred the MA so I forked out my money again.

If any H2H players want to join us in the MA then feel free, just don't whine if I choose not to join you in the H2H rooms or pay attention to the posturing that seems to go hand-in-hand with the H2H service...
