I'm at a loss to figure out what kinda input H2Her's can give here, and what kinda attention they expect to be given... but at the same time this animosity towards them is kinda missing the bigger picture. They're a neccessary part of that migration path and I think it's a good thing for us MA flyers in the long run.

By calling them mooches and leechers, ya make it sound like they're taking advantage of HTC. If that were the case, why did HTC build it?

I reckon there may be a bit of kneejerk anti-freehost sentiment at play here... This is completely different.

Nash put it right.

Hmmm, I pay my 15$ per month so I can tell my wishes to the HTC about h2h host Icon and Trackers settings, right?

OT: "169,959 characters so far...." - Molloch

Hey, you make that up or do you have some kinda program that counts characters on a page? I have this girl who does copy for me and... well I can't explain it... but if I had a way of pointing out the characters per page I could have a riot at the office tomorrow. You got a link to something?

Ok back on topic... Uhm... Piss off you damn freeloaders! :D

I host H2H AND I pay my $15.00/month.
I can't play MA and host H2H at the same time.
I keep the settings close to MA.
I like the idea of great players from other sims (AW and WB) to be able to fly and practice AH w/out pressure and without getting hassled.
Many former nonsubscribers now subscribe and play MA.
I never boot anyone because they shot me down. I enjoy the challenge of playing against better players.
I will boot players for vulching and vulgarity. No tolerance for them.
Regards,
SaburoS

PS. There are great players in MA and H2H, IMHO.

Since you "want nothing for free" you should not play for free.
On the other hand if you DO want something for free, dont get a job and continue to fly for free. Its your decision but dont overload us with yer BS. Lots of us can see thro it.

Certainly some people are being harsh on H2H players. I believe AcesHigh is a global game. Some people like me come from small towns in some remote part of the world. Because of weak and laggy connections we never move on to MA. I do have a fast connection but there is still some lag.  Its also a fact that regardless of where you come from the membership fee is same. For American people $15 may not be much but its quite a lot for some other countries like India. I can rent a two bed home in my place for that kind of money.

a naturaly asperated 850hp 502 chevy big block would be useless on the street.  650-700 hp is pushing it.  An 850 hp big block would have 20k worth of parts in it...

with that money you could build a streetable, dependable 383 small block (350 with a 400 crank) of around 400 hp and have enough left over for eye surgury and a lifetime subscription to AH plus make a sustantial down payment on a home in kansas.

ok i guess i stated things wrong at first basicly i want to forget the original posts...

what i want is the h2h to stop being thought of as a den of tards...i want it to be thought of as another place to fly when the whiney MA'ers have there "hated" night time and pizza map come on...hate to see it at nighttime on  pizza map...

this was not meant to be a whine i just dont like being reffered to as a freeloader and a tard...
beleive me we in the h2h know tards...for about 5 seconds then we boot em and get them blocked...we have prolly dealt with more real tards than the MA

and as i have already said we do play an important part in the aces high community...

heres what we do before we send em to the MA

1. clean up there mouths
2. give em a sense of good form (never will a MAer who was trained in the hth killsteal, vulch (including landing) or start cursing on channel one when someone shoots em down)
3. train em for the dogfights
4. train them what the really good planes are (that way they dont blow 200 perks or whatever on a me262...not worth it as we of the hth know the 262 is basicly the most pathetic plane ever)
5. get rid of the whiney attitude

i just want some respect for what we do t oremove the real tards and clean up people before sending them off to MA thats it...i also want to see some MA players in hth on occasion with REAl names not some newu*** name

Well Vorticon ...

With this post ... you extended ... attempted a nice reversal ... but your angle-of-attack sucked.

You are asking for all of the ... and I quote ... "whiney MA'ers" who don't like flying at night, nor like the Pizza map to come "fly H2H"

This audience will, in a very short time, violate rules 1, 2 and 5, and therefore be booted and blocked ... so whats the sense ? Logic is all wrong.

Maybe you should of said ... (note: I left out any derogatory adjectives)

For all you MA'ers who don't enjoy flying at night, nor enjoy the Pizza map, come try my H2H arena, you just might like it as another alternative.

Here are the objectives of my arena ...

1) sfdf
2) dfdfdfd
3) dfdfd
.
.
.

Here are the rules of my arena ...

1) asdasda
2) adfadfas
3) dfsdfsdf
.
.
.

I have ventured into the H2H area, but have no clue as to the objectives of these arenas, nor the specialized rules that each HOST may impose. Can you shed some light on these points ?

thank you for that nice post slapshot...much better than some

most games in hth are either

a) ffa wich is basicly like a 1 team 8 person furball
b) team games with 4 on 4 where basicly we base take and furball a bit
c) duels...wich are rare and aer basicly dueling arenas

and as foryou nifty...we do allow vulching in team games...only if your doing something and dont want them to up hwile you remove there hangers

hth is also full of some rather nice player made maps that cant make it inot ct because there wrong for it
