AH Spit9 outclassed by the Bf109G-6? Or the Fw190A-5?

 You gotta be joking.

 It's gonna take helluva teamwork if the G-6s or A-5s meet Spit9s on equal terms, and that still wouln't mean up to snuff since mission theater will offer organized Spit pilots, unlike the dinky bunch in the MA!

 However, I agree on everything else, as I myself advocate the introduction of either the G-14, G-14/AS or the G-6/AS.

 Bf109s and Spitfires are unique. They met both the opening and closing of the war, and evolved with those rough six years that came to pass. No other single fighter type was so universally used throughout the wat as Spits and 109s have.

 So, more 109s and Spitfires are always welcome.

 However, the lfMkIX and the G-14(or 14/AS or 6/AS)... should remain low in priorities. Maybe after the IJAAF, IJN and VVS sets are well represented?

The spitfire and 109 were 2 countries frontline fighter from the start to the end of the war.  You simply cannot model a spitI, spitXIV, 109E and a 109-10 and think that they that represent the RAF's and LW fighter strength of the war.  You also need to model the varients inbetween.


With the mission theatre this'll be even more important.  What is the RAF supposed to fly if there is a 1943 europe setup?  Either a slow 1942 spitfire IX or a very fast spitfire XIV-  There would be complaints from the LW if the RAF flew the spit XIV and complaints from the RAF if they had to fly an outclassed spit IX.  


Soooo.....bring the clipped wing Spitfire LF mk IX/XVI to Aces High.

Yep, that's what this game needs if you are a fan of RAF birds.  The RAF is missing it's mainstay fighter for 1943/44 - the Spitfire LF mk. IX (nearly all of the 5,500 odd IX's built were of the LF variety).

The Spitfire was the RAF's maintstay fighter for almost all of the entire war.  Unlike other countries the RAF doesn't have about 15 different fighters to model, it's needs the varients of its main fighter modelled.

Sure, we need more RAF birds. LF -- yes, great bird. Also I would like to see many early RAF buffs and fighters.

Only one comment, we have 3 soviet fighters, and 1 soviet attacker. That is all. Same time we have 3 versions of spitfire only. Not to say that we shall not have RAF birds, but I would prefer  more ballanced development of a planeset. At least give us an aircobra, it saw combat in many theaters of ww2, and was a successful VVS lendleased fighter.

Would like to see both the uber machine-gun version of the B-25 and the skip-bombing version of the B-25 (much better than torpedos for sinking boats).

I would like to see CV groups actualy leaving from the ports. I would like to see some flying boats and or something like the Sunderland. It would make a great adition to the flightline. It is bloody well armed too so. Water landings would just be great.

I would also like to see the sea modled corectly. I would love it if when I landed my chute in the water I floated and bobed or if I ditched my lanc in the sea it started to sink.
